Check out the Sunscape Dominicus. The former Belive Canoa is a Family Hotel with activities for every age.
Located close to the small village of Bayahibe at the Beach Dominicus. The Hotel is rather small, compared to some on our Punta Cana side. That said, it is not too far away from Punta Cana airport. Around an hour driving.
The slides are great, and fun to use for kids and adults. The beach is a bit narrow and the sun beds are close to each other. It felt a bit packed.
Buffet food was good. I can't say for a 5 or 10 day vacation but for a day pass, I have no complains.
The property is clean, the tropical garden is nice for a walk and overall it's a cute little resort.
I can't tell about the rooms since I have just been for a day pass without a room. Oh, I almost forgot to mention, the Sunscape Dominicus is on the Caribbean Sea.

Besides that Dominican Republic is always a good Idea 😍 September is peak Hurricane season. It's very rare that we get hit ( google it) but it's good to know.
Would you say this report is better than Sunscape Coco in Punta Cana? It looks like it but wanted to get your take between the two.
They are more or less the same in quality I would say. I have to say I liked the beach and the color of the ocean better in Bayahibe. Not only the Hotel Beach, but also where you can walk along the beach on the natural beach. you do have some rocks there. Hope you choose the right one for you 🤞

The Coconut was at additional charge. You can also walk passed the shops and come to the public beach Dominicus and find someone selling Coco’s there. Since a lot of locals go there, prices are maybe a little bit lower. But just maybe 😜

I have to pass on this one. I have been to a couple resorts since and I really don't want to mix up, what I don't remember very clear.
How the beach ? Any rocks ?
yes, some but not really bad. I wouldn't say you need water shoes.
How much is it for a daily pass?
75 US for a day all inclusive.
