i solved the problem at 3:38 a few minutes after this vid was released by using the Pythagorean Theorem. the given adjacent & opposite numbers are 16 & 12, so we square both of those numbers individually, and set them equal to x^2, for as we all know, a^2 + b^2 = c^2. in this case, 16^2 = 256 & 12^2 = 144, so 256 + 144 = 400. next, i square rooted both sides for x^2 to become x & 400 to become 20. therefore, x = 20! thx so much meatball for assigning this homework assignment for me to knock out! fusion, you too! ;)
