Basically read your enemies' potential gun caliber. If it's lower than 150 and 120, you are safe to push aggresively. It can bounce 150mm gun on 2 stripes of upper hull armor and 120mm gun on virtually all of its frontal armor.

PLEASE, make a guide on how to play STRV agressive. It is my favourite tank of the game! :D
i have been playing strv aggressively for a few games when it was top of the tree last time and if you know which tanks can pen u and which tanks can not, it is literally a beast at hulldown positions or even in facehug in some occasions. I remember having around 3-4k dmg every round. Would like to have a video about it.
before the revolution begin in iran 8 month ago I was trying my ass off to achieve 3d mark on STRV, so much joy to witness this video, love you iyouxin
SO far every single STRV i saw in this mode got folded in the first minute of the game or sat somewhere out of action with 1k dmg at the end
yes! i am grinding this line, i am at udes 03, at the beggining i hated it, i had like 3 attempts, but i couldnt find the way how to play it efficiently, after some time i am getting better, it is still long way to learn how to play it well, but i finally had a few 4-5k dmg games. i am trying to play more agressive than snipe from the redline, on udes it is very risky because of 0 armor, but on strv it should be more successful
May I ask you how you play it? I have 35% win rate in it. (yes really). My recent win rate is 56% but I just can't play with it. You can't really play aggressive cause everything that hits you basically over matches you instantly

please make a deep guide for strv, Its my first tier 10 tank and I can not imagine playing any other tank instead, its just so strong if you know how to stay which can actually pen you and how you angle when you about to get shot. I would love to see an guide from you, because I cant find any good guides about this tank and you are just cracked at wot tbh. Love watching you keep it up

Its better in bronze because players are so clueless and they focus less, I'm unsure you would be able to pull off similar results doing the same but in gold/legend/champion ranks. But you did pretty good with strv and those guys really got taught the saying "don't judge the book by its cover" ❤
I did the same thing. Ppl would hate on you so hard until you smashed the team. 5sec reload and can pen almost anything.
Idk why everyone calls it out as idiotic at the start, it works great in defense and even sometimes in offense like you showed. Insane dpm, which is important for the gamemode.

I just played this tank in common test with like, 250 to 300 ping and I'm doing so damn well even with that ping. Luckily, I'm already grinding for it and I'm at the tier 9 with 160k exp. Can't wait to have this tank.
Tier 9 is so much different just because it doesn't have the shield. People can just use heat and forget about it.

Strv is surprisingly still so underrated even though it easily outperforms the majority of other TDs if you use it right

If you keep tracking SC from its left side, you're hitting ammorack, so the chance of blowing it up is quite high. Which feels pretty satisfying when playing lets say TVP

Only problem with strv is if it get perma tracked because its non turreted tank.

What sucks about this mode is even if I’m top damage which happens in like 95 percent of games in this mode I still lose rating points because teams are filled with players beyond bad

WOT is the only online game I've ever played. I'm an old guy, so imagine my dismay when I saw how toxic the chat was. I put up with it and tried to ignore most of the insults and bashing. But, after 2 years I finally gave up and disabled chat. Best thing I ever did in this game! When you're playing with children who grew up thinking bashing complete strangers from behind the safety of their keyboard, was just normal behavior, you either bask them back, which is pointless because it doesn't bother them. Or you can just disable chat and enjoy the silence. I like silence.

So which guns can penetrate strv? I do not understand.. I think that some ap can penetrate entire strv and some ap not?
So in WOT there is a rule that is called the 3-calibers rule. As you know ap shells, apcrs and heat shells will rebound of the armor if the angle is big enough (heat needs the biggest angle). Every shell normalises a bit but with higher caliber, the normalisation increases and it means you have more chances to pen... if the ennemy caliber equals to 3 times your armor or more, it will overmatch it: the shells will just go through the armor when they should have bounced. That is the reason why bigger Guns (60 TP, jagpiezda, E100) can penetrate Strv very easily.
The problem is that the angle needed for heat-shells to rebound is way bigger than the other shell-types... (I dont know the exact values but I think ap= 70° and heat =85°) That is the reason why even low calibers can pen strv if they load gold(and that the shelltype is heat) like the stb-1 did.
This is because of the overmatch game mechanic. The frontal armor of the Strv stands in an 80 degrees angle, making it an auto ricochet for AP and APCR rounds, but not for HEAT (the reason why STB could pen him) and high explosives. If you have more than three times (not at least three times) bigger caliber than the thickness of the armor plate, your shot is going to penenetrate the opponent automatically. The frontal armor plate of the Strv 103B is 40 mm thick, meaning you are going to have to have a >=121 mm gun. In this game matchup the meds had 105 mm guns, the S. Conqueror and the M4 54 had 120 mm guns, so they could not pen the Strv using AP and APCR (S. Conqueror and M4 54 do not have HEAT), meaning a well angled STRV was almost unpenetrable for them. So shorter: the guns that has a caliber >=121 mm or have HEAT (or HE, HEP or HESH with decent penetration) can penetrate the strv almost automaticaly (a little bit tricky with the heat shield on the front), but any other guns have 0 chance for that, they have to aim for the little cupola.

I have chosen obj 268. One player made a lot of drama in chat. Battle result I made 5.9k while he made 1.6k with right tank... They are just annoying

strv is just meme as f, stb, and s conq still are better they just had very poor positioning lmao.
These tanks used to have lower DPG than my Strv in this map. They used to go up hill and that's where you could farm them with the TD sniper skill ( + 25% damage ).
@@MrSwareism yeah but a good stb would after 3 shots have his inspire on plus if they only had 1 tank on yoru side you wouldnt be able to play that position due to your side being overmatched, i love to play strv the same but its only good when the enemy is bad

But now bots see it and next time they will try it in my team and fuck up my game because they belive they can do the same....
