The Butcher is my favourite shotgun in the entire Borderlands franchise, absoutely love it. Fun fact, despite having nearly 200 hours in BL3 and deliberately farming for it on several characters, I have never had an elemental Butcher drop in BL3, I'm getting close to 30 consecutive non-elemental Butcher drops Update: I finally got my first elemental Butcher, took almost 40 drops at around 250 hours of play, the fun part is that is was a world drop from a chest during a co-op playthrough with a friend (I'm in the process of taking my friend through the whole series since he's new to it).
can i just say: i love your scripts. seriously, your moniker in general is very refreshing and i find myself going back to these videos despite having over 10k hours in the borderlands franchise.
Trevenator is still one of my favorite guns in the game. I recently got a near max one with Radiation and Cryo for my Moze and it freaking shreds, having almost 10k more damage then the one I was using made a huge difference. I also tried out a melee Amara with the Face Puncher. I got a Cryo Stone Static Charge with max Melee damage increase, Max Cryo Effect, and really high Cryo damage increase it's crazy.
There are just so many good shotguns in this game, especially for splash damage users, it's hard to pick just 10. In addition to this list of heavy hitters, I want to highlight the Tigg's Boom, which can wipe out entire arenas with extra splash damage radius and Amara's Indiscriminate, the Shocker, which shines on Zane with Eraser or on Moze, the Slow Hand, which does hefty damage on its own and invalidates any lifesteal skills, and the Fearmonger, which shines especially brightly when on a Terror build with Moze. Also, I know this is a legendary list, not an overall list, but the Dakota takes my #1 spot. Good on all Vault Hunters, and when it hits hard, it hits hard. I use it on Amara and Fl4k all the time.
The Slow Hand is another good shotgun to keep around with its elemental splash damage plus 50% life steal. The Shocker is another shotgun that doesn't get mentioned enough with its single orb splitting into three orbs plus the shock splash damage.
One thing that isn't really talked about with the Anarchy is that (for me, anyway) it seems to ricochet bullets to nearby enemies upon hitting an enemy OR the ground nearby. You don't even need to hit enemies, just hit close-by them
As much as a I love the hellwalker,I think the top 3 is #3 Hellwalker #2 Anarchy #1 Butcher, especially if using megavore and leave no trace ... you can almost infinitely fire it
Just started mayhem at level 48. Got a lecel 48 mayhem 10 annointed hellwalker from the Sanctuary vending machine. This is the 2nd NON BLACK MARKET drop I've had of this shotgun THIS PLAYTHROUGH. BL3 really wants me to have a great shotty lol.
starts the video with Convergence but did't even mention it in the whole video, lol... the Convergence is also a beast, especially if it comes with a shock element and equipping the shock element Old God or absord bullet roll Revolter on Moze with Blue/green tree skills.
I was waiting to hit the "LIKE" button til I saw #!....and I wasn't disappointed with your choice. The Hellwalker is my fav gun to use still to this day.

Because as a weapon its absolute horseshit. Its only used to boost secondary stuff like grenade damage, rakk damage, etc. But when you actually shoot it, you could pick up purple shotguns from the floor and do more damage.

unlucky. my first butcher at 39 with no element my next was 71 with cryo, both from the circle of slaughter on pandora

My favorite is hellwalker. Just the power is possesses at all points in the game. It feels like a shotgun should

I got an incendiary lob as my first legendary shotgun and my first thought was "holy sh!t it launches stars at them"

The Garcia I think is severely underrated. It actually became my main shotgun until I got the hell walker

I love using the reflux on a gamma burst build for mobbing and if your spec’d right you can switch to fade away and use a queens call for bosses 😌

Yeah, the rate drop actually drops Mayhem 6+ for the Recursion to make way for the DNA. (30% below Mayhem 6, 13.5% Mayhem 6+).
