UPDATE: The battery that I used in this video turns out was not holding charge. I purchased a new battery the other day and kept it inside while charging as the temperature was very low during the taping of this test. I am running a 9.0 flexvolt battery and already went over 3 hours of runtime on high with no issues
Bought 2 of these for painting my house and all the other jobs I will be doing down the road which will be plenty. Can't wait till they arrive tomorrow.
Just got my light today for my birthday.. and let me tell you... This thing is freaking sweeeeeeeet ! And durable as hell too. I mean. You just touch and play with this thing and you're like.. oh ya. This is nice. It's the end of July and my home depot has then for 229$ I don't know how this was 130 back a few months ago.. Wish I would have seen that deal but still.. 230 for this thing . .. amazing purchase . I can't wait to use it on the site. I'm gonna plaster the night away hahaha
Yeah I can understand what you mean. I'm not a huge fan of the soft yellow on a lot of lights, but some do. I guess it's up to the users preference really
Like the this light (& rocket light) is able to be “fastened” down w/ the holes on the legs👍🏻, but these look a little “easier” to work w/ maybe (don’t know for sure cuz don’t have one). Also, possible to change out the telescoping feature w/ metal clamps? Keep the enjoyable fun vids coming; & it’s your signature style” now👍🏻 Loving it & enjoy watching. Cheers✌🏼
I really they would incorporate a "plug in" option like they do on their fan. I would probably buy one if they did this. We have the milwaukee light and within 2 weeks the clamps broke, and it was more $ than the dewalt at the time.

How is the tripod working these days? Any stress fracture? Yesterday, CPO had a one-day sale for this with a 5.0 batt for $161.99. What a deal! But the few negative reviews out there talked of the top of the legs cracking off the top of the black part that it hinged to. Probably could've fixed it with JB Weld but it was enough to wave me off. One guy was on his fourth tripod light from DeWalt warranty to fix this. Another guy has a two-legged tripod. Other than that, great light! Love the vid.

158$? I just went and checked one out at H.D. and it was 229$! Heres my only 2 complaints other than the current price.... 1. The size..where tf am I supposed to put that when I'm not using it? My 7000 lumen dual halogen is smaller than this thing. 2. You cant just plug it in when you are out of batteries. I guess I'll have to spend an extra 200 dollars on batteries because this light is a tool only item? You would basically have to spend 400 dollars to get this thing to run for 3 hours. Wtf?
i was impressed until you said its 3000 lumens. isnt the new makita light 10,000 lumens? although the rigid light is 2500 lumens. so maybe that is normal and the makita is just insanely bright lol.

Good to hear. I get about 3hrs on my 5.0 so you should get 5hrs easy on the 9.0

The color temp is my biggest grip. Kinda wish is was more whiter like the Ridgid. But over all it's a fantastic GIANT flashlight.
