Full Project: Irrigation with Arduino

- This is our 2nd complete project of the video series and is the perfect ending to the intro series for this channel. Applying the General Automation Model, we took our water irrigation idea from start to finish. We use 3 different sensors in order to complement our data; soil moisture sensor, rain sensor and light sensor (LDR). The combined data served as a jumping point of our analysis where we decided when to water our garden. As a result of the analysis we actuated using a relay controlled solenoid.
This project can be extrapolated to larger irrigation scenarios where fields of valuable crops must be irrigated in order to save water both for cost reasons but also for the lack of a large supply of water for irrigation. In addition, fertilization may also be combined in what is known as ferti-irrigation, which combines both water and fertilizer that needs to be applied in a controlled manner.
I really hope this has served as an example of how to bring your ideas to life and hope to see you in the next series.

1000th subscriber here. Had a good time watching this. Thank you
Great. Where are you located btw?
Love it
How can we incorporate this project to have a pump?
How much volts is your relay?
You can use a mini solar panel instead of relay
dudd yaar nim appa kodtana ?
Sir/ma'am Can you please give me the code of this project
is there a way we can incorporate an NPK sensor to this?
@@bismuth2813 im sure there is. www.makerguides.com/arduino-uno-and-npk-sensor-project/
What is the resistor value used for the LDR
same question...
did you get the answer???
Please help me
Great, can I have the code for this project please?
@@cicero1OTBA sure, get it at Santiapps.com
Hi, can you help me to jot down your methodoloy from the first until last of this experiment 🙏🏼 i need this for my assignments, really hope on your reply. thank you for the great video btw
Sure what do you need?
i want the lists for the procedure of this project, from the first until the last one. can i? 🙏🏼
Did you watch the complete video? All the sensors and the valve actuator are connected step by step to the mcu. Do you need help with a specific step?
@@Santiapps yes i have done watched all the video, but if you dont mind can you share the specific step 🙏🏼
@@nurmaisarah7826 ok sure I just want to know what format you want it in? Since I have already done each specific step in a video format, which other format would you like?
hows the resistive moisture sensor holding up?
@Jacob Dominik thanks for the feedback!
Just stop... No one believes this shit
what is the role of ldr in this project?
To determine if it's day or night
@@Santiapps Please help with the specifications of LDR and Resistor used.
@@prashantsinghtomar5727 Hi. Yes its the basic commercial LDR from the 55 series
How much it will cost?
2 lac rupees
can u please give me the code of this project
Sure. Give me an email so I can send it to you
What’s the battery you’re using?
@@josefmarenec1921 it’s just a battery pack
can we access it through our phone
Yes you very well could! You could use bluetooth or wifi modules to control it
Can you please tell what materials did you use on your project?
Its just pvc pipes and a solenoid for water control and then the arduino and a relay for the logic side.
@@Santiapps can you please help me
@@abdulrahmanismailali1064 sure what do you need
@@Santiapps to tell you what I want
Hi there is see the code was updated on the link in description, can you perhaps advise which one is correct to the video ?
Thanks very much
Im not sure which edit you are referring to.
@@Santiapps can you give me your phone number to help me in my project
Can you give me the code of the project
Sure we will gladly email it to you. Which email should we use?
