I forgot to mention at the end, you either need to render the 3D layer or rasterize it if you're planning on using it for something else or pasting it into a new document.

Adobe is going to be discontinuing support for Dimension and 3D in Photoshop. It really sucks.
I’ll still be using Photoshop to make 3D objects for now but I’ll start to use Substance 3D Stager for 3D material, textures, patterns, etc. New stuff is coming soon!
What???? That’s crazy. I just got into it and I really love it ://
@@deaddog7611 Yeah, it sucks. It'll still work on older versions, anything before 22.5.
Looing forward to seeing those nice videos from u

Amazing tutorial. Any tip how to make chromatic glass distortions? I think it would be a great addition to this. Keep up the awesome job!
Thank you, really glad you liked it!
I’ve done some chromatic glass before but never 100% in Photoshop. I’ll look into it and hopefully make a video on it soon.
@@RiddingInk actualy if you can make more dimension tutorial it would be great for everyone! There almost no good tutorials and it could help you create a new niche and grow your channel, that is if that your goal :) maybe a mix of both - photoshop and dimension, some new interesting workflows.
@@sergio1991M That’s a good idea, thank you. I usually assume most people are working only in Ps but I’ll definitely add Dimension in there.
Nice

Thanks sooooooo much! you helped me a lot. this yellow tinted fotos disturbed me so much but now it is gone.
Hey! How did you get the 3d feature to work for you in adobe?
your videos help me a lot
If you have free time please make videos like this
You guys should consider getting Caustic 3, it helped understand the basics I tNice tutorialnk it´s even free for PC, on the phone it costs a little.
Hi, thank you for putting out such a detailed tutorial. I made a design thanks to your video. But I have one problem when I tried to create my 3D chrome object, which is that after I chose the texture, if I try to rotate the object, it loses that texture. I don't know if I'm missing a step or if there's any thing that could cause this. If you could please help me with this issue, that'd be great. Thank you!
Same here. I had the same issue as well 😭
Hi! Since Adobe removed this feature is there any way to get this effect with their current software? I love the see-thru effect that you're getting!
I'm using photoshop 2023, when I add the texture I can't see that metalic render. This could explain my doubts
Is there a way to see the longer version? I cant get it working for example in the beginning with the group duplicate and merge and a few steps further in the 3D environment my IBL is always messed up. Ive tried basically the whole day but I cant figure it out..
Great tutorial. Unfortunately, Adobe is pulling out 3D from its future versions as well as Adobe Dimension. But great tutorial nonetheless
nice video
thank you so much for this tutorial, i wanted just to ask about this "you either need to render the 3D layer or rasterize it ", how do we go about rendering it or rasterizing it? Do we group or merge both the 3d layers ? If you're able to explain this, and thanks in advance.
You can rasterize just like you said, using merge or Right Click in the layer and select the Rasterize Layer option ^^
