Adobe is going to be discontinuing support for Dimension and 3D in Photoshop. It really sucks.
I’ll still be using Photoshop to make 3D objects for now but I’ll start to use Substance 3D Stager for 3D material, textures, patterns, etc. New stuff is coming soon!

@@RiddingInk actualy if you can make more dimension tutorial it would be great for everyone! There almost no good tutorials and it could help you create a new niche and grow your channel, that is if that your goal :) maybe a mix of both - photoshop and dimension, some new interesting workflows.

But I have one problem when I tried to create my 3D chrome object, which is that after I chose the texture, if I try to rotate the object, it loses that texture. Is there a way to see the longer version? I cant get it working for example in the beginning with the group duplicate and merge and a few steps further in the 3D environment my IBL is always messed up. Ive tried basically the whole day but I cant figure it out..

You can rasterize just like you said, using merge or Right Click in the layer and select the Rasterize Layer option ^^
