MTB meets BMX. This one is a fun machine!
A whole new world of fun, the Wethepeople Swamp Master is our first full suspension complete BMX bike. Inspired by the days of old when a BMX bike came in many forms, we set to make a bike that combines the all-terrain versatility of a mountain bike with classic BMX roots and fun. Made to shred both bike parks and dirt jumps alike, this bike is unique to say the least. Engineered in Cologne, Germany, the Swamp Master is designed for just about every terrain whilst providing the freedom of movement and simplicity that a BMX bike has always offered. Spec’d with a mixture of our own aftermarket BMX components and genuine MTB parts from Kenda and Manitou, the Swamp Master is the first production complete bike of its kind. Love it or hate it, we dare you to take it for a spin and come back without a huge smile on your face.

SWMAP MASTER OUT NOW! - www.wethepeoplebmx.de/bikes/swamp-master
should have space for a dropper seatpost!🤣 looks really fun!!
Site is down when I go to “store” :(
Bike is instock at dealers now, restock arriving in Janaury ;)@@berad1cal
I don't see pricing or an add to cart button how much is the pricing
I have an idea to make this insanely fun. 😏
Want one badly. After all these years of having MTBers mess up their trails - BMXers now get to footplant the lips at MTB parks!! Balance restored.
what MTBers are messing up BMX spots lmfao
You know you can actually do things without finding conflict in everything. Life becomes fantastic ❤
@@logang6583I found it was easier to go through life with a sense of humour and realise when a joke is a joke!
Finally got mine yesterday after waiting since June, and it is definitely what I expected, nothing less than excellent! This bike is a perfect balance between a BMX, a DJ, and an MTB. If you can get one? GET ONE!!! I'm 53 years old and my passion in the '80s was freestyle/BMX, and this bike brought back the love and passion I had when I was younger.
Had a blast shooting this!👊 What an amazing bike, surprised us big time how well it rides on different terrains and fun fact, Jacob actually told me he thinks it almost rides better in the pump track than a regular bmx 💥
Thanks for putting it through its paces. Good to know it handles the snow just as well as the dirt 🚀
The video is amazing. Amazing work both of you. Jacob shredssss
It would be interesting to see this on a pump track. I'm guessing rides better doesn't mean faster? Those wide knobby tires and suspension sag have got to drain your pumping power.
Vart körde ni och spelade in?
I Östersund och Kall @@jonasang9676
Let's goooo
Mad props to the team behind this!
Thanks! The boys smashed it with this one.
As a mntbiker my initial thought was, what’s the point, just get a full suspension mtb… but if it get’s more riders on bikes, shredding and having a blast, that’s the point. Now I want one! 😀
Easier to do on a regular BMX than a MTB
The point is it’s not a MTB. Not as limited as a MTB. Smaller frame allows for many more possibilities. Since MTB copy everything from BMX, why not change the tables for once. But I see a whole new level of possibility with this.
I have a BMX I ride almost daily and a 29er MTB that occupies space most days, BMX has so much more agility and comfort then the MTB
Rode one of these, can confirm they are awesome.
Hell yeah stoked you're loving it!
Save up for my Passport, a new swamp master whip, and Swampfest 2024. I'm game.
Goals.
@@wethepeoplebikebrand goals? That's footy, this is extreme sport, no magic sponges here 😂
looks like a game changer to me.
I’ll get this before I buy a mountain bike Forsure. Hopefully in the near future 👊
😁
If there is a lord in hell this brimstone BMX will be worth a damn in concrete park too, love it, getting good work out of you department lately guys
Какое красивое видео! Давно ждал видоса с этим байком))
whuuuu, a full suspension BMX? that is pretty bad ass
Just bought one, got inspired by all the videos, and was either going buy this or a brompton. I think i made the right decision.
Baws! Definitely need this in a 24” !
Holy FUCK I need this bike!! Way to go guys!!
🚀
as a guy from Cologne Germany i can say that im reeally proud that this beast is made in my hometown.. im not so deep in BMX more in Downhill and Freeride but when i see this beast i really want to shred it. Great work, great bike and awesome video. where is the riding location???
We filmed it in Östersund, Sweden and the surroundings of Åre.
@@niklassundin Oh, that's a bit far away. At first I thought it was near Geroldtstein in the German Eifel.. keep on shredding
We've got great mountains here for downhill, check out Åre Bike Park and Järvsö Bike Park. We will for sure visit those with this beast this summer!@@ottopeede
New Game 🎉 Congrats
Looks like a fun bike. While it might not be a true BMX bike, having disc brakes would be lovely to see on BMX bikes. Especially when the BMX bike is used for commuting, how unusual that might sound. Anyway, I do hope to see a version of the Swamp Master one day without the suspension.
You mean a regular bmx bike?! Wethepeople already sells bmx bikes without suspension.... all bmx bike companies do
"True BMX"? Uhm, maybe people don't remember, but a lot of BMX bikes had suspension forks back in the 90's. BMX is just a wheel size and geometry concept. I might even argue that "Bicycle Moto-cross" is nothing more than a mindset and way of life. I feel like my 26" DJ feels more "Moto-cross" than my 20".
@@culturelog A regular modern BMX bike, that is what I meant. But they do not come with disc brakes nor are the frames compatible with it besides a single frame. Now the problem is reliably getting wheels for that frame. So, it would be nice to a see a Wethepeople complete disc brake bike that is like a modern BMX bike but without the full suspension stuff a BMX bike would not benefit from.
Check the CHAOS MACHINE - www.wethepeoplebmx.de/frames/chaos-machine-frame
@@TarmovActually some ordinary BMX do come with disc brakes. And most adult racing BMX bikes have discs.
Looks great!! I wanna try it.
Lets go!
Need to do one in a 24” for the broken old blokes with shit backs.
Its literally everything Ive been looking for. Something I wouldn't mind walking up the mountain. Wonder if i could get one extra gear on that back side...
I live in rural Arizona in the middle of the Sonoran desert.. id love to get my hands on one of these asap.😂 Reminds me of that one some new Zealand rider built a few years back
Sick video
🤜
Looks mad
My dream com True... Nice ride Nice edit ! Sooo cool
The future has arrived, that’s cool as hell if yall need a tester let me know lol
From the planning to the execution on a controversial and difficult-to-market bike, fantastic job on the video! The terrain, conditions, and riders was the right combo for upping the stoke and showing what this bike is about!
The bike looks real nice too :D
Anyone have some insight on if this bike (with street tires) would do well to cushion big drops to flat on the street? Kinda like urban freeride.
bro the future is really here
hopefully you guys can release this bike in a 24'' version😎
Rad👌
Shit vad bra den blev! Grymt Kört! 🤩🤩🤩
Over 3K for this bike😮 beautiful bike. Have to wait till it comes down to a reasonable price
I wanna give this a go!
Cute!
I Must Have This BMX, It's Amazing 🔥👍
Every childs dream! :D
is this good on rock gardens?
NICE!
Soo cool!! do you think this is comfy to ride for someone 5,7' like me ? ;D
totally :)
This is awesome, I gotta get one!! I have a versus and a arcade! Love we the people, time for a new addition to the group
Yeewww!
Cool bike. Have to make sure my kids wont see it 😂 Not sure the tricks in the video needed a full sus BMX bike though. You can do all that with just an ordinary BMX.
Oooo heck yeh bois n girls 🤘😘✨
doo look fun
It doo be.
I hope Scotty Cranmer gets Matty to try this on their channel at a skatepark!!!
He's sponsored by another brand already so doubt it :(
Looks so tall, I feel like if you did cop one you’d want to throw like 7” or 8” bars on em
We use an 8" rise bar on this bike. The stem can be flipped if you need to ride it lower. When the fork is udner sag the front end height is comparable to a regaulr bmx setup.
@@wethepeoplebikebrand oh wow, guess it just looks huge
Is it designed for jumps or downhill???
Nice 😍
This is exactly the kind of riding this bike is good for but if you don't intend to spin and jib that much, 26" wheels will be much better on unstable terrain. Also don't be fooled by the size, it's heavier than MTB bikes. Just saying. Glad it exists as an option. I would like to see a hard tail with just a suspension fork and disk brakes. Makes more sense to me.
How short can you be wanna get for my son 4’5” he races bmx and wants to play on some mtb trails
like 992!

It looks cool, but 14,5 kg for bmx?
Where can I buy one
In stores now, with more bikes landing in janaury.
🤞
✌
This is to MTB what 12's, 14's and 16's were to little tackers getting into BMX. Good alternative to bridging the gap in what is becoming a ridiculous priced sport. (MTB)

Really its such a neiche market for it... being 20 inch your not going to really go to the MTB bike park on it the jumps can be done but really its not suited for it at all and not stable... doing jibs and fujanus or other things you just have a normal bmx, at the trails you would rather still have a normal bmx, or just have a dirt jumper as it rolls faster... its really hard to justify at all - dont get me wrong i want one but dont think it would get used.... MTB park im taking a DH or big travel freeride enduro bike... the jump park depending where its at most likely a dirt jumper and proper trails that are steep and you need to pull back on with steep landings the normal BMX and just jibbing around or street stuff... There is a place for it but your certainly not doing a slopestyle course on it with the speed and size of the jumps - not saying you cant but slopestyle bike any day over it
