My story is similar for 45 years. Went from hot metal to letterflex, to offset. The people we're like family. Always thought of it as an important job in the community. Worked on Goss Unitube, MK 2 and 5, three models of Hoe presses and TKS.

I'm a 2nd Pressman on a KBA press. Can't say I have as much fun as this gentlemen. But, it's all in who you work with, and who you work for. The printing side of the equation is fine. I do enjoy that, even if it can be stressful at times, because it's fast-paced, and things can go wrong in a hurry.

Nice clean old Urbanite there. My Uncle, Ron Frans worked at the Sioux City Journal for many years.

So you of all people should know how to make a pressman's hat from a dinky..?
I started off at 15 on a urbanite press my favorite was the SC Community press.
Have run presses from AB Dick all the way up to 6 color press that we used to print record albums on. as well as some likited time on a Goss Merto.
So do you know how to make the hat from a Dinky sheet. (it was called a summer hat)
