If I may add 3 things or enhance what was said in the video- 1. Develop a strategy WITH AN EDGE. 2. My mother always use to tell us, "Everyday is a fishing day but not everything is a catching day". Which leads me to #3 3. If you don't see your set up do not take the/ any trade(s). Do not force anything. Today based on the strategy I use, I saw it would not be a good day to trade then with the CPI report that came out at 8:30, I knew I had to stay out of the markets and take the day off. I didn't gain anything but more importantly I did not lose anything either. My accounts are intact. Today the fishes were not in the area I usually fish. The seas were a bit too rough and I stayed home. No fish but no lost boat and I was not lost at sea. KNOW WHEN TO TRADE.
I love that you said this. This was my exact mind set today. I took profits on a call I mapped out on the opening bell push on TSLA. I spent the rest of the day looking for another play. I couldn’t find a play that matched my price targets with volume. Historically I would force trades. This year I’m mentally sound and I’m not gambling. Okay but is not luck, is all about having good investment plans most of all trading with a trust worthy expert. Heres some truth, you can't flip $100 into 2k in a week and that's not what he was saying. As a trader myself, everything he said was on point. The key to profits is consistency and in order to have that it requires a strategy, an understanding of market structure, and DISCIPLINE.
And cut your losing trades QUICK!! Don't hold losers waiting for them to bounce back to green, because they occasionally WILL until they DON'T. Then you've created a BAD habit of holding losers, hoping, then eventually taking BIG losses, instead of living to trade another day. Set your STOP LOSS and NEVER move it in any other direction, BUT to exit the trade direction.(Risk management) is a key pillar to eventually becoming a successful trader. Rule no. 1

Not silly- I started planning to make $20 a day- 4 days a week.. $80 perfect.. started with $488. I was making $320. Sometimes little less or a little more.. I started with a pen and paper- that was my demo way of practicing.. writing the numbers on paper and times.. and I found a strategy that worked for me.. BUT it takes TIME… and listening and taking notes. Great content

i found the easiest way to help with risk management was to actually get a bigger account. The cheap 6k accounts are good, but to make anything you have to pile on a bit more risk. i got myself a 50k funded challenge, and can then trade the exact same lot sizes,, risk roughly 100 200 bucks per trade, and that still miles away from my daily drawdown allowance. just helps the mindset a bit i think for the same rewards. max daily drawdown is 2500, risking 100 bucks a trade, have to be wrong 25 times in a row on the same day to blow it. I have had it weeks now, and not once have i traded more than 2 lots on any one trade. 1.7 lots is the highest on GU last week. but the risk is so negligible. conversely, trading a small size on a 6k account is like 10 quid, and that just feels pointless

Love how you break this down. Having a game plan. Ive been lesrning going in hard on options past 2 weeks. Everything ive gathered is have a game plan. Got in my first call option yesterday and let my greed get the best of me. Twice i could have taken profit but i did not. Its a small play, definitely learning if i see profit, take it.
I lost over $70K when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. Tell your viewers the truth: You need more capital to make 2K per week. Otherwise, it's extremely risky to flip $100 to 2K in a week. Most FX youtubers run huge accounts. No wonder the huge payouts. Otherwise a small account will only end up messing up your psychology no matter how polished up you're.
Heres some truth, you can't flip $100 into 2k in a week and that's not what he was saying. As a trader myself, everything he said was on point. The key to profits is consistency and in order to have that it requires a strategy, an understanding of market structure, and DISCIPLINE.

And cut your losing trades QUICK!! Don't hold losers waiting for them to bounce back to green, because they occasionally WILL until they DON'T. Then you've created a BAD habit of holding losers, hoping, then eventually taking BIG losses, instead of living to trade another day. Set your STOP LOSS and NEVER move it in any other direction, BUT to exit the trade direction.(Risk management) is a key pillar to eventually becoming a successful trader. Rule no. 1

i found the easiest way to help with risk management was to actually get a bigger account. The cheap 6k accounts are good, but to make anything you have to pile on a bit more risk.
i got myself a 50k funded challenge, and can then trade the exact same lot sizes,, risk roughly 100 200 bucks per trade, and that still miles away from my daily drawdown allowance. just helps the mindset a bit i think for the same rewards. max daily drawdown is 2500, risking 100 bucks a trade, have to be wrong 25 times in a row on the same day to blow it.
I have had it weeks now, and not once have i traded more than 2 lots on any one trade. 1.7 lots is the highest on GU last week. but the risk is so negligible. conversely, trading a small size on a 6k account is like 10 quid, and that just feels pointless
