I DESPISE this stage. It's not even the track itself that's bad. More so the AI is ludicrously smart even on normal/intense. If you go off course even once and you aren't a pro, good luck trying to catch up.
This one is a STRUGGLE for me. Crazy to see what higher level play is like! I was hoping you could help me. Two questions please: 1. Are you using the break in conjunction with acceleration at all or is that mostly by letting off the acceleration with the drift around corners? 2. What is that air pinwheel shape that comes off the back of your kart sometimes? It seems to propel you forward. Thank you so much for the video demonstration!
The pinwheel that lets them make super tight corners without losing much speed is called a sliptide. If you're boosting (sneaker panel, invincible, sneaker item, etc) you can tap the drift button instead of holding it to make a quick turn but you give up your chance at a mini turbo.
Ooooh. Okay that works too. Either way, until now I just assumed you had to carefully aim it before firing and pray nothing goes wrong on a straight-away.
did not like this course in SRB2K (i think it was a random hell playlist map), still don't like it here. feels bad to race on with that said, great performance on this course at gear 3, very good

the biggest thing I've learned from this is that you can STEER THE SPINNING TOP BY BRAKING?
