    Thea, I used myuki glass beads in a size #5. The higher the number, the smaller the beads. I also sometimes use #6 delica beads.

    Hi angel, I get mine from my local craft store. You can shop online or your craft store for a #5 or #6 seed bead. Some folks also call them crow beads. Myuki is the brand used in this video.

    You can make your own designs now that you see how the stitches are worked. I play around with 80 to 90 stitches depending on the designs for the larger hoop. For the smaller its anywhere from 75 to 90 scs. Feel free to play with it and try different ones. Just make sure you do the same for the second hoop.

    Enjoyed the video and your way of explaining things. I was a little put off at first with it being the opposite way around for me, but after a few minutes my brain got into gear lol. I have a huge stash of beads so will give the earrings a try with some of those, not sure if I have the myuki or not. Do you think the memory wire would work in the same way? Thank you for sharing your talent with us.

    I would put some extras just in case. After you make the first earring you can add more beads.

    I have the perfect threader for some of the smallest beads and thread. You can find it at my site, Brenda's Bric-a-Brac. Just search "threader" when on my site and it will take you to that post. I love it! And love to share it with everyone!

    wouldn't even use a jump ring, it'd make the earring hang awkwardly, i would use the ring directly on the ear hook

    • @irmar
      @irmar 9 років тому

      Kari Berg With the jump ring, it dangles more freely.
