It's not right to cut off the Afghan people from aid just because the Taliban are in charge. Especially after the US left Afghanistan in such chaos.
They didn't cut off aid because the Taliban are in charge, they cut off aid because America are not in charge.
For context pre American occupation of Afghanistan opium / heroin production was 0% during American occupation / war the opium production in Hellmand (a stronghold of establishment troops) increased to 39% of world supply, after America withdrew the Takiban reduced production of opium down to 0% again. Western democracies are now crying about this, it is only a small part of the reasons WHY America has reduced funding and that has nothing to do with the Taliban 😊
