    The converter that you didn’t know what it did is a DC to DC buck converter.
    Gas motorcycles have a 12 volt electrical system to run all the electronics (turn signals, headlights, blinkers etc).
    Some electric bikes have this converter to convert the battery voltage (50-67 volts in your case) down to 12 volts so that you can use generic motorcycle electric parts on your bike instead of having to buy specialty ones that work with higher voltages.

    Looks so AWESOME!!! Nice Build, great Video!!! I just bought the ERide Pro SS 2.0. Ordered a 16 inch rear wheel with 60 tooth sprocket from Warp 9. Thinking that I should have ordered the 54 tooth one as the rear wheel goes from 19 to 16 inch... Do you think that a 60 tooth is too low for the gearing? I'm now afraid that it will be to witchy, hard to keep front wheel on the ground? anyway, interested in your thoughts with 54 toot rear sprocket. I'm not really interested in high speed so i want lots of low end for hill climbing and technical trails. Anyway, thank you! : )

    • @electric_things_
      @electric_things_  2 місяці тому

      @@Sherman1862 hey thank you I appreciate it🙏 I’d say you definitely did right thing with getting the 16inch rear rim it’s a night and day difference having that real dirt bike tire on their for trails and climbing fs! One of my best purchases was that but with looking at the specs on the eride it looks like that thing would be a torque machine out of the box😂 what size spocket is on their now? I feel like the 60 tooth would definitely make it super easy to bring that front end up witch would be fun on technical trails but might be easy to spin the tire out or pop the front end up on hill climbing but if your easy on the throttle you would grow into id think! I’m really liking my 54 tooth sporket but with my 6800 watts I’m pushing I have gotten to the point where I’m full throttling my trails and hillclimbs wishing I hade more top end speed but with your bike having more watts and top end out of the box I don’t think you’ll go wrong with either or!
