I got to thinking about it and remembered that he was 50 percent Ojibwe on his Mother's side. Just a few generations ago, his Ojibwe ancestors were eating fish caught out of Lake Superior, deer and small game. In the tiny growing season of southern Canada/northern Minnesota there would be some berries and wild veggies... maybe a little wild rice. Thank you, doctor for your excellent advice. We have been adding ginger or tumeric to our food for many years. We instinctively don't like the taste of both in the same dish. Seed oils are not part of our grocery list, because we don't like the taste. Colds and flu disappear very quickly. Nobody in our household became ill during the pandemic - we didn't take the Vax either. I will definitely follow your advise with regards to the rest of the foods on your list.
I'm careful to check the butter I buy is not blended with other oils. Just contains milk fat and salt....because I like the taste of salt in my butter 😊 If you eat lots of animal products that are not processed I believe it's healthier.
I've been watching a lot of your videos recently in Spanish and struggling a bit as you talk Spanish _really_ fast. And now I find that you speak really good English... 🤣
Yes, it's definitely more ex expensive to eat healthier food than junk food. I rarely buy take-away and and I prepare and cook most meals myself. Fortunately I don't eat meat but I do enjoy fish.
I have learned that one should only purchase extra virgin, cold pressed olive oil presented in a glass bottle. Oil tends to absorb toxins from plastic bottles. Plastic bottles should be avoided for all food especially liquids.
Then WHY did we as kids in 1970's and even before in the 1960's eat salad oil every day- which is soybean oil and no one had cancer- I never heard of childhood cancer. Don't you remember the commericals with Florence Henderson and Wesson oil for salads and frying chicken in it? EVERYONE in the USA used Wesson, Crisco, Mazola corn oil and everyone was FINE! we also used lard which is the cleanest fat you can cook with, along with butter. I use vintage recipe books and they say all the time, use 'salad oil' which is soybean oil. What is wrong with that? Seems strange now that all these experts are saying not to eat the foods we THRIVED on in the 1950's-1970's- ridiculous! I mean, now you can't eat cake, you can't eat butter, you can't eat pork you can't eat comfort foods, you can't eat ice cream- one person on here says eat wheat grass and warm water- oh PLEASE! I know a woman, 91 who eats almost every night: a waffle with strawberry ice cream, chocolate syrup and Cool Whip! Not even real whipped cream on it, but Cook whip which is artifcial! She is 91 and NOTHING wrong with her- she mows her own lawn, gets on ladder and changes her curtains and washes her winodws. Simple as that!. When I was a kids we ate shrimp in the basket with french fries, cole slaw, delicious! My father made home made, home cut french fries from our own potatoes like twice a week in salad oil- and we are fine!
Thank you for this video. I quit using seed oils for a while now. I only use olive oil now. I haven't warmed up to coconut oil yet as I'm not sure how to use it and with what foods.
It is worth noting that the overall quality of our diet depends on several factors, e.g., the types and amounts of fats, the balance of macronutrients, and the inclusion of whole and unprocessed foods. However, people should be aware that most of the canola oil consumed today is extracted from genetically modified canola seeds, which adds another concern to the use of this oil. In addition, canola oil is ultra-processed due to the number of chemicals utilized for purification and refinement. And when in doubt, abstain, as the wise saying goes! I only use extra virgin olive oil for cooking. Occasionally, I use coconut and avocado oil, given that they are out of my budget!
Do not throw out your seed oils. Take them to the gardening shed. Put into a spray bottle. If you get tent worms spray the outside of the tent. Break the tent. Spray the inside. Dead in seconds and very helpful in locations where you have a tent that would involve cutting down the tree to remove. Do not worry about the birds. I watched the first time. Birds will ot touch them,
I broke all the tents open that were in my trees. The birds ate some of them. The next year the birds ate them all. No need to kill them, just push the process along a little.
Thanks for your contributing content. One thing I’d like to suggest is being aware of what you say. i.e. On one hand you say "Avoid these oils at all costs !", then you say you‘re eating them when going to a restaurant about once a week. See, I only use radical speech only when appropriate.
Hello Dr. Carlos, may I translate this important video into German to provide this important information to the German audience, of course with references.
but that's why I don't go to restaurants or eat outside. It's not only seed oils but all the lab made added poisons that the chemical names a line long. Potatoes you eat outside is not just potatoes. There are at least 20 lab made chemical added.

Thank you, it is a very interesting and important topic. Some say grape seed oil is better for frying than sunflower of canola oil. Is it also made in an unhealthy way? And if yes, is olive oil suitable for frying?
Olive oil has too low of a smoke point to use for frying. If it gets too hot it degrades to a form of fat that is no longer safe. Use clarified butter or lard or tallow instead.
I have been off seed oils for two years. Avocado oil for frying, olive oils for everything else. The difference is worth never using the seed oils again.
One thing that has entered the food system is the advent of plastics in food storage and elsewhere. Starting in the fifties and accelerating through the decades.
Animal oils are good as well. The best animal oils are from animals that are 100% grass feed. When the animals are grass feed the ratio of omega 3 fatty acid to omega 6 is closer to 1 to one.
Seed oils commercial use was initially developed on large scale for machine oil ! Animal fats are required in human diet, I like to use dripping, when I cook my dinner

The funny thing is that Greek cardiologists recommended heart attack patients to quit olive oil and eat sunflower and corn oil 😂
Thanks for video! Is Olive oil that is sold in a bottle not processed, like the seed oils you mentioned?
An interesting fact learned from you Dr. Carlos...GOD bless you for sharing this to all of us, your followers.
ALL FDA CEO's need to have a funnels in their mouths pouring in these very oils.
Just contains milk fat and salt....because I like the taste of salt in my butter 😊
If you eat lots of animal products that are not processed I believe it's healthier.
When we don't buy the foods with the oils, where will the cdc fda pharma ceo barrons put it next?
I've been watching a lot of your videos recently in Spanish and struggling a bit as you talk Spanish _really_ fast. And now I find that you speak really good English... 🤣
Thank you for making this video.
Thanks doc 🙏
Dr. Carlos what do you think about flaxseed oil as omega-3 source? Can we consume it daily?
I subscribe doc thanks for helping people because nowadays foods are becoming toxic if we are no aware of its contents & purpose to our body.
Pumpkin seed oil and Black seed oil?
Thank you for sharing this.
Nice information. Thank you
Woww, this was so informative. Thank you for knowing so much!!
Very interesting and very informative 👍
IT'S TO EXPENSIVE TO LIVE ANYMORE...ON EARTH ANYWAYS.
MONEY$$$$ BUYS EVERYTHING EXCEPT OUR CREATOR. "GOD".!!!
This is very teuer thank you so much
What about grapeseed oil? Is it okay?
Does cod liver oil have the same amount pf omega 3 as an omega 3 pill
Thank you so much for the videos you are posting❤❤❤ i appreciate you very much ❤❤❤ thank you 😊
I can't afford to eat clean, unprocessed fresh foods.. and I won't be living that long anyways.
Yes, it's definitely more ex expensive to eat healthier food than junk food. I rarely buy take-away and and I prepare and cook most meals myself. Fortunately I don't eat meat but I do enjoy fish.
Thank you Doctor❤
I have learned that one should only purchase extra virgin, cold pressed olive oil presented in a glass bottle. Oil tends to absorb toxins from plastic bottles.
Plastic bottles should be avoided for all food especially liquids.
What abot grape seed oil?
Thank you so much Dr. Carlos!
Used pure coconut oil because it has natural oil in it.
please get only extra virgin coconuts oil that's organic, cold- pressed and undefined.
@@marlenecampbell9823 I will, thanks
@@Jo-pj6ib Thank you.
Thanks for sharing the truth with us, may God bless you❤
Do not throw out your seed oils.
Thank you for that info ☺️
Thanks for your contributing content.
One thing I’d like to suggest is being aware of what you say. i.e. On one hand you say "Avoid these oils at all costs !", then you say you‘re eating them when going to a restaurant about once a week.
See, I only use radical speech only when appropriate.
Huge difference using once a week vs daily.
Sure, but "avoiding at all costs“ is inconsistent with "yah, but once a week is ok.“
@@kulturfreund6631Agreed. Mixed messages.
How do we reverse the damage other than stop eating these products?
Thank you very much for the info. Blessings.
Hello Dr. Carlos, may I translate this important video into German to provide this important information to the German audience, of course with references.
What about sunflower seed butter?.. if anyone has the answer..please share..TY
Macadamia nut oil is incredible
but that's why I don't go to restaurants or eat outside. It's not only seed oils but all the lab made added poisons that the chemical names a line long. Potatoes you eat outside is not just potatoes. There are at least 20 lab made chemical added.
These oils are even in my "healthy" alternative foods and snacks! UGH!!! Thank you Doc! Baby formula is a nightmare!!!
I switched from fish oil to organic walnut oil cold pressed.... More omega 3 and never rancid like all fish oils, and no mercury either.... No fishy taste, no fishy odor and no funky body odor from it.... It does not contain DHA however....
Krill oil is a good option
@@wmp3346 not fr me I am Kosher..... All fish oils from the sea are rancid by the time you get them.... They claim to distill them but you cannot distil oil .... They remove the water and some of the mercury, but they cannot stop the oil even from krill becoming rancid ...
I cant afford that, I live in New Zealand.
How about flaxseed oil
What about black seed oil?
Another Dr on YT said it lowered Blood pressure Which has been high ever since the Astrazeneca injection . Who do you believe?
Gracias Mr. Chingon
I have been off seed oils for two years. Avocado oil for frying, olive oils for everything else. The difference is worth never using the seed oils again.
Thank you.
What about grape seed oil and rapeseed oil? Are they ok to consume ?
The development of modern Western Culture is coincident with the culture of olives as part of the normal diet. Likewise the growth of grapes for wine.
Does it make a difference if the seed oil was cold-pressed?
You SHOULD be a person who goes to a restaurant and ask them what sort of oil they use.
Seed oils commercial use was initially developed on large scale for machine oil !
Animal fats are required in human diet,
I like to use dripping, when I cook my dinner
Thank you Sir ❤
