We have a 2015 5533A and have alot of electrical problems, now it needs the entire slew drive replaced. Also the paint is coming off I don't think the metal was cleaned properly. Also if you live in a colder climate the controls are not easy to use with heavy gloves on. The controls look nice but the plastic that's over the push buttons crack and then water gets in and then your screwed, we have had to replace these a couple times. When everything is working its a nice lift it just sucks when you get stuck up in the air and nobody's around to get you down. We have a couple JLG'S that seem to work all the time but they are not as flexable. If I had the 5533A with the JLG'S brains it would be a sweet lift. We would like to sell this one but if someone asks if we have had any problems then I can't hardly lie. I think this machine was built on Friday the 13 with a full moon and Jupiter was aligned with Mars, Because it seems that most folks are fairly satisfied with their's.
the perch system is much better than genie and JLG. The casters suck on the genie and usually fail really fast. Also they are removable with the haulotte. All the controls are separate and articulating on the haulotte on the genie you cant operate them all separately some are on the same control. The genie is super sensitive. the Haulotte has a slow start up so it wont jerk like the genie there is no comparison. No rabbit turtle from the ground controls haulotte has same controls at base and on lift unlike JLG. Nifty lift also completely sucks.

What is the best lift ? Why is nifty bad?
So how secure is the basket on the 5533? One rod seems sketchy
