I like your content and delivery, and I'm into smart home devices, so new subscriber here. Thanks for the heads up on the Amazon deals, I'm going to be picking up one of those Echo Show 5s tomorrow.
LOVE the SwitchBot Indoor/Outdoor sensor. I'm using them in fridges and freezers to keep an eye on stuff, especially the garage freezer, which the kids have accidentally left slightly open twice. 1 cheap sensor beats losing a bunch of stuff from the freezer! Also, as easy as SwitchBot's API is the integrate with, I'm pulling temp data and graphing it in Grafana for a nice dashboard view.
Grabbed a Erro set least year and has been pretty good and reliable. I suggest that if you grab one that has multiple hubs for several floors like I did, that you take advantage of the connections to plug in devices which takes off some of the wi-fi load off your network which is what I did which really helped. Bought a Ethernet hub to connect more devices at each hub.
Like the video as helps to see what is on sale.
I literally just picked up the echo dot with the clock and the echo 8. Great prices.
I recommend buying echo devices, ring, eero, ecobee, roborock, nanoleaf, govee, abode, Reolink and zooz. Really good deals on those brands

I’m wanting an echo Studio, $154 is a great price, sadly it’s still showing at £219 here in the UK. Will wait and see.

Can the SwitchBot Hub2 expose the outdoor sensor to HomeKit? I know it can show the temp on the screen but I want to be able to see it in the home app.

Thank you very much. No you do not have to use matter for the Aqara smart lock. It’s great that it works with all the assistants.

Currently an issue with all echos in that they are resetting the equaliser to base immediately after you change them.
It's a visual bug in the app. Close and reopen the setting tab and it should show your changes when you reopen
Wait! What are you saying? Does the Switchbot Hub control “Ceiling Fans”? 😱 I have been using Bond for years and hate it. Marginally works, if at all. Is the Switchbot Hub an alternative?! 🙏🏻😊
OK, the automated blinds were cool...that would be like some big wig office thing in the movies. Modern day ganisters probably have those.

On the Aqara lock, I guess there’s no way to key it the same as your current key?

What about it? You're looking for more? I mentioned Aqara, which can cover your whole smart home. Plus I did a prime day video strictly on their stuff. Then you have SwitchBot, Govee, Lutron and some others. I tried to share specific deals I personally had and Amazon’s deals. Aqara is definitely one of my favorites.
