You know when you listen to a piece of music and it gives you goosebumps and shivers? Well this did that to the point where I felt queazy. I didn’t know it was possible for something to be so good it made me feel sick. Super weird sensation, keep it up.
Haha there is an explanation for this, actually! Sometimes strong emotions can overload the body, which will cause it to “hit the faint button” (in medical terms, stimulate the vagus nerve) to protect itself. When this happens your heart rate slows down considerably and your blood pressure drops, and that combination makes you feel queasy and shaky. Source: student nurse and personal experience (but due to anxiety, not joy from awesome music lol) :P

@Swole Beast both versions are good but the movie version just adds more emotional fuel to an amazingly set up fight, especially if you watch the original trilogy before the prequels then the emotions behind Anakin vs his master are all the more volatile

Yes definitely meter has been changed from 2/2 and 3/2 to straight 6/8. For reference, on the original song, the string instruments leading into the first French horn solo is in 2/2 and the horn solo 3/2 and it alternates back and forth. It’s a bitch to keep up with and much easier to read in 6/8
I lied the intro is still the 2-2 / 3-2 pattern until the heavy metal goes full send then it’s 6/8 the rest of the way
