Cathedral live at Club Citta, Kawasaki, Japan August 3rd 1993. Fountain of Innocence, Golden Blood

This rare footage is taken from Cathedral's first of many visits to Japan, back in August 1993. The show was the seconds of two sold out night at the famous Club Citta in Kawasaki. Bassist for the trip was temporary member Mike Hickey, later of Carcass and formerly of Venom/Cronos.
Featured tracks are: Fountain of Innocence (guitar solo Adam)/Midnight Mountain (guitar solo Gaz)/Golden Blood/Ashes You Leave.

Yes Gaz, you made a difference in people’s lives. Certainly mine. Cathedral is my go-to for some feeling of like mindedness when the rest of this fuck-all planet has their heads right up where the proctologist does his business. Soul Sacrifice was my first disc by Cathedral. Of course, right off the bat, I was FLOOOORED!!! Then Autumn Twilight, amd ending with the epically riff filled Golden Blood. What other band can have more badass riffs in one song than most bands ever create in their entire career? None. And what band has such a catalog, that even if you throw out the merely good songs, there are still like 40 incredible and rifftastic, grooved out, metal defining, epic by any other band’s standard, songs? No other. They certainly have more Grade A songs than, dare I say, Sabbath or Zeppelin, even Queen, definitely more than Metallica or anyone else.
