This video refreshed my days of 2005-07 when I started my career in bengaluru for very less salary, and this mess was the one feeding me the good healthy food for less amount like ₹12 for 2 chapathi and ₹20-25 for meal. As other mentioned, owner never used to ask money, I just ask god to give him & his supporting staff a Good health and wealth to become their strength to continue feeding people.

He said he use be next Appaji Canteen, I used to go there for dinner, price was around 16/- full meals at tht time now mit have increased.. But this palace is amazing sir onethara homely food feel agathe vole ruchi yadha oota kodthare avr heltha erodhu nija i have experienced first pref is customer satisfication jana Q nithirthare alle rathri oota ke seat sigodhu kashta ethu but kayadhuku worth edhe aa place.. Amazing person and amazing taste.. :)

You made my old memory... Venkateswara mess was my favorite during my college days. I studied in BMS engineering came from karavali and was staying in a small rented room in the next road of this mess. I was a regular customer from 1999 to 2004 until after my college and job. I use to go and wait 30 minutes early before their food preparations. I never missed Thursday majjige huli. It looks like the same pattern is followed even after 20 years... I love you Gopal Bhatre... Namaskara... 5 years annada runa ittu.. bhatrudu I was forced to move Hyderabad 2004 Nov(though I use to get Jubilihills resort type food I received in a guest house I missed Venkateshwara mess a lot) I finally moved to United states in 2005. 10 years inda bangalore ge bande illa. I will be visiting next year and definately visit and meet Gopal bhatru.. Beligge yeddu, snana maadi dodda ganapati devastana visit maadi correct aagi 12pm mess ge hajaru aagtidde(holidays). Baaki dina, college 1 hour gap nalli 12pm-1pm bandu oota maadi vapas bms college ge hogodu roodi aagittu... Namaskara.. This mess is one of my sweet memory😍

several times I saw people eat and go away without paying. I reported this several times to Gopalanna I got the answer : - if you want to not pay amount you can keep money with you and tried to return back my paid money but I told him if I wanted to do that why should I pay you ? but I told him if one person does like that others will follow such persons and that will cause problem for loss to your hotel and we bachelors are relying on your hotel for food and if your hotel is closed we will suffer then he politely replied don't complain about others, I know who is paying and who is not paying let them go without paying thats all. From this any person can understand the nature of Gopalanna a true Anna Dasoha seva karta
