Hi, welcome to our new Macramé channel in English.
I´m Lucie from Czech Republic and I love macrame. In this channel you will see a lot of macrame tutorials. I hope you love it as much as I do.
And today i will show you how you can make this beautiful macrame diary/book cover.
Use single twisted cords. I love Bobbiny cords, so here you can see: Bobbiny macrame cords 5mm blossom.
What do you need ?
Bobbiny macrame cords 5 mm
Beige fabric 29cm x 59 cm
Needle, thread, sewing machine, iron, Tailors tape, scissors/ cutting wheel, glue, hair comb
MEASURE AND CUT
PART 1.
Lenght of the cords 26x 3m
For a bigger diary/book you need to tie more line of the half square knots. You need also bigger size of the beige fabric.
PART 2.
Measure of the cotton fabric.
29cm x 59 cm
Project size without fringes 25cm x 32 cm (front + back side)
Full size of the fabric pocket 23 cm x 31,5 cm ( width left and right side 10 cm)
