I use a lot of these. I had to replace a winter coat at the beginning of the season. I went to the thrift store and found a very high quality wool coat that is normally $400 for $17. Currently doing a no buy month and discovering why I tend to want to shop.
So glad to know someone the same height as me!!! I can definitely relate to some of your petite-shopping concerns 🙂Thanks for these tips, Haley! Keep them coming!
I think an important tip to shopping more sustainably is to plan to spend more money and better quality ( from more sustainable brands if possible) for items that you know you wear most often ( usually more ‘basic’ items). Then they can actually last year after year. If a person buys an item that is worn very frequently, it usually doesn’t stand up if it is fast fashion.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts ☺️ I agree that’s a great route to take, but I actually have a lot of older FF pieces that I’ve been wearing for 4+ years and they’re still in great condition. Of course not all FF is made the same, but I find that with good clothing care they can last a pretty long time 🙌🏽

Yes! My wardrobe is 80% thrifted. But I agree with the fast fashion pieces, as long as you know you’re gonna use it well and would take care of it. I see nothing wrong with it. Most of my basics are from a fast fashion brand.
I needed this video, thank you ❤
Glad it helped, thanks for watching 💗

That’s great to hear Angela! What a steal, those are the best types of thrift finds 🙌🏽 Keep it up 🥰
@@HaleyVillena Are you doing a Valentine's Day fashion clip this year?
Are you looking for date night outfits? Most likely not as I’ll be well into my third trimester so lots of my regular clothes don’t fit haha!
@@HaleyVillena All good, thanks for replying !!!
