Hello everyone, welcome to my coloring channel for adults.
I am sharing a flip through of one of my focus books.
I am back with an update of my progress with all my colored pages so far, last filmed June 2023.
    Now over 50% completed in
    Book: Ken Matsuda collection
When I realised I could color on the soft paper with watercolor media my enthusiasm returned. The Crayola washable Supertip marker pens have been a revelation when used like a watercolor with a paintbrush.
I hope to try some other watercolor media in this book.

Beautiful work ❤ I’ve been using watercolour techniques in my newly purchased French version of this lovely book too, and thoroughly enjoying it.

Hi 🐝! I’ve followed the work you’ve done in this book for a while now. So beautifully done and well thought out. Your Supertips video was so helpful! I’ve been having fun trying out your techniques. I enjoyed this video. Thanks for sharing hun! 💞 😊

I am so intimidated by this book! I even bought a second copy so I wouldn’t feel as bad if I messed one up and I’m STILL scared to color in it 😂

If you are using a palette you can use complimentary blending to create your own muted colors. It's a bit hit or miss since you are already working with mixed dyes and not pure pigments (so you don't know exactly what is in the color regardless of what you see coming out of the pen) but basically you just cross your temperatures. If you want a muted blue add a bit of warm orange to cool blue or cool orange to warm blue.. each mix and the amount you add will give you a different result. When I did watercolor painting I typically worked from a limited split primary palette (single pigment warm and cool of red/yellow/blue) plus burnt sienna (this just makes it easy to get brown and grey faster), and I could match almost any color with those seven. With 100 colors the possibilities are endless. Warm/warm=warm, cool/cool=cool, warm/cool=neutral, complemetaries mute. The complementary colors are those directly across the color wheel.
