Today I'm going in to detail to teach you my simple breakout strategy that I've been using in the 2023 market. How do you determine what a breakout strategy actually is? We'll discuss how to setup your plan, where to place your entry and exit, and avoid fakeouts to increase your chances of success. Before I retired 3years ago I challenged myself to put away 50% of my monthly income into stocks which is quite easy since I lived frugal without debt.I work as an account executive,and I make over $200,800.$100,000 goes into dividends and the other $100,000 goes to my living expenses, I am seeing improvements in my portfolio, dividends look certain,but I have to attribute this to only guidance of a licensed wealth strategist who allocates funds to a plenitude of assets, I have to stay discipline and remember that I am in this for a long term,recently got my first property and looking forward to get another soon.good luck everyone and thanks for the wonderful video

Your teaching skills are top notch. Was already on the verge of quitting trading because I once saw it as a luck game. These are very valuable strategies for anybody who wants to get rich. Unfortunately, most people who will watch this video will not really be able to apply the principles. We may not want to admit, but as Warren Buffett once said, investing is like any other profession-- it requires a certain level of expertise. No surprise that some people are losing a lot of money in the bear market, while others are making hundreds of thousands in profit. I just don't know how they do it. I have about $109k now to put in the market.
Understanding personal finances and investing will most likely lead to greater financial independence. By being knowledgeable about money and investing, individuals can make informed decisions about how to save, spend, and invest their money. I know someone who made over $350k in this recession influenced market, but to the best of my knowledge, it was through a financial advisor.
true, A lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for license advisors and came across someone of due diligence, helped a lot to grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to approx. $850k so far.

This is excellent content and a well concise video. I liked every bit of your explanation, it shows there's lot I must do if I want to be proficient with trading.
Whenever I watch his videos, I feel the motivation and drive to learn how to trade. although am taking gradual steps towards understanding the market.
I have been trading for about 6 months now and just about every trade backfires and slaps me in my face. Nearly impossible for me to catch more than a few points I try to do top down analysis but it doesn't work for me . I say to myself, clearly I'm in the 90% that lose money, so I open a demo account, do my analysis, then take the opposite of what I would normally take and get the same result. I'm starting to feel hopeless, any advice for a struggling trader?
Your problem could be your stop loss is too close or you're watching your trades too much. Place it and walk away. Or you could just give up, trading isn't for everyone.
@@kourtneywyldeofficial Don't listen to her, don't give up. Trading takes time(months, even years) to master, even the pros learn everday. Never the less, if you lose money no matter which side you take, maybe you need to look at how you are managing active trades rather than how you are entering them. My advice, find a mentor . And also, try incorporating the use of oscillators, Bollinger and pivot points into your strategy. And most importantly move to higher TFs(4h or 1D preferably), you'll thank me later.
@@flykinglei9201 You're correct, I don't lose money every single trade, but my main problem is trying to let my runners run. Very rarely do I catch big moves . Instead they go a few pips in my direction, then go against me if when I try holding them. Also my entries could use a lot of improvement. A mentor would be amazing, but getting one is easier said than done. If it's not too much to ask, do you know any legit ones?

You can use something else, for me her strategy works hence my result. she provides entry and exit point for the securities I focus on.I got to know her and we exchanged emails and also made multiple of my start up capital within couple of months. She is licensed and quite experienced, out there to help new traders.

As the dollar is about to crash, I find it really scary. The Government tells us to stay calm, but I recall they said that in 2007, and yet everything went down in the 2008 financial crisis, including my portfolio. I was over-leveraged with my mortgages with Citi Bank. I also had investments in Amazon and a few other companies. Most of those companies got wiped out. I have managed to re-build my portfolio to $478k, but I don't want to take same risk.
I remember this too, but my personal case happened in 2008. I and my brother were both invested in the market at the time. I made the move with an advisor when I foresaw the crash, and made almost 3x profit. Saw my brother's portfolio sink to the ground. He fell into depression soon after. I'm still sticking with my advisor. This time it might be a worse fall.

Great video, I've been interested in investing ever since I came across articles of people making up to $150,000 and more in this period, thanks for the video but is it really possible for a retail investor to achieve this in months?
I've purchased numerous stocks in individual firms. Because there are so many stocks that will skyrocket in the long run, it is currently safe to buy in on ETF and ride it out. Due to fud, I sold out early, but then retraced my ways and re-invested $350,000 with a financial advisor who manages my account. I received an 82% return last year and will see where it goes this year.
that's quite impressive, you surely made a good bit of money. I myself invested in warren's BRK-A stock quite pricey but totally worth it.

She covers things like investing, insurance, making sure retirement is well funded and looking at ways to have a volatility buffer for investment risk, lots of things like that.

The market is very unstable and you can not tell If it's going bearish or bullish. I advise y'all to forget predictions and start making a good profit now because future valuations are all speculations and guesses.When these reports are bullish take some off to the side lines, when news gets bearish start buying. Oh dear, you are missing 2 key points or this will not work. There are 5 irrefutable laws to trading. One is retracements and the other is trend. First you have to look at trend on all time frames. Where is this market going? Then you have to determine when a market is breaking out of a balance area, how far has it gone before a retracement? If it hasn't retraced yet and started from the bottom of a balance area, it will break through and retrace back to the balance area. Another key point is to know your market and its habits. That is why I only trade SPY's. I know its point range, habits and how it reacts to market conditions.
Also, this is more commonly already called a Break & Retest. Vincent Desiano trades it exclusively.

The only breakout trade I use is a trending breakout. Where the stock is consolidating under highs then it starts trending higher but under breakout high. Then those usually work about 90% of the time. But no pullbacks to recent high in the afternoon only in the morning if I get in on that pullback. Because usually the trend breakout doesn’t give a pullback. Just the mornings do.

Sorry, but in Corvana, if we choose a downtrend, why is the breakout successful? We should have chosen the uptrend. But in the beginning, when he circled the parallel and down trend, it didn't indicate the stock would go up. I'm so lost. Please, someone, explain this.
Thanks for discussing breakout theory that makes sense. It does have to be different in currencies, but for your areas of trading your focus on risk as a function of where that break comes is critical to understand for sure.

I already own shares of Tattooed Chefs and Kairos Minerals, and I'll buy some Corsair as well. Sure, I don't mind having these equities sit around for a few years, but I'd also like to appreciate short-term profitable investments that could, say, turn $100K into $500K.

Thanks for the bonus tip, I think a lot of people are missing the takewaways on this one with playing off a key level ( hitting three times or more), play best risk set up being low risk high reward and seeing supply zones that get clearer with bigger time frames to see a clearer picture. I think you and Roland Wolf describe the areas and the strategy really well for these set ups except his is more off of low of day risk strategy which I enjoy both. Appreciate all the tips man!

Do you guys (who are profitable) have strategies that are very specific in terms of entry and risk-management or do you mainly just stick to gut instinct and cut trades short when they start breaching certain pivots? I was looking online and came across this fascinating investor who turned $10k into nearly $158,000 within 3 months. Meanwhile, I'm down over $17k, done every thing I could...changed my strategy, the timing and I still simply can’t make any gains. I've lost on almost everything I ever bought and I feel like shit.
To be 100% honest with you. I had the same question 4 years ago. I was confused as heck. Now copying other traders for over 3 years, I would confidently tell you that you need professional hands to make a killing in todays market. I’ve made more in 18 months than I made in 13 years of DIY. Just make sure you know the investment adviser whom you are dealing with before copying their strategy and you’re good to go. My two cents.
