As with all the Hyper blasters, once I'd added my own hop-up with a blob of plastic putty the accuracy is spot on. There is a pistol version coming out soon with the same hopper door mechanism, the Hyper Impulse. No doubt they'll forget to put in a hop-up.
So, I really like the rush 40 and siege 50 for plinking around the house. Downside is the ammo type is so crummy to find after a battle. This offering seems interesting and I might pick it up for collecting purposes but maybe when it's on sale. Hasbro just hasn't given up on hyper yet, have they.
this is actually a really cool blaster, just would be nice to have a hop-up, and this could be really nice as an HVZ blaster due to high capacity and quick reloads
This looks like it might actually be a "good" hyper blaster. Still not sure what the deal with the hop-up not being included is but other than that it seems solid. Unfortunately, hyper rounds vanish easily.
They really need to change the color to something other than "sunlit grass". As for the hop up you can get 3D-printed 3rd party ones for like two bucks, but its so dumb that you have to get an aftermarket part to make the blaster okay.
I of course didn’t know this thing existed because nerf doesn’t market their new blasters even half as good as they used to -_- I am gonna try and get one whenever possible though, this thing looks like a sick prop
Can they hurry up and put hyper on sale or clearance so i can scravenger the springs for blasters that use ammo i wont completely lose outside....and does it really feed reliably? Pass judgement when the hopper is getting closer to empty then see how well it does.
It's a hopper, so without movement there's always the chance for a dry fire. But even fully loaded I couldn't get my Evolve to dry fire. As long as it's held level, it feeds better than every other Hyper blaster we've gotten (I've had experience with all of them). It's not going to be everyone's cup of tea, but for anyone who's had any interest in Hyper, the reliability is a big step in the right direction.
@@foamquest I learned the hard way today! LMAO. I even paid $20 for 8D batteries even though I know the one I wanted only requires six. It is impressive, I am 38 years old and obviously grew up shooting Nerf darts, and everything… These are actually really cool, I wish that we would’ve had these back when I was a kid! If you could let me know the name of the one that I am thinking of. It looks almost exactly like this? But it takes 6 D batteries and shoots full auto.

@@foamquest Hobby? Lol, not by any means, sir. I am 38 years old and simply went to go purchase the one that I thought was fully automatic and it’s not. I remember when I was a kid and all the fun I had with Nerf guns and super soakers blah blah blah lol. It’s a much better and safer plus less painful alternative to airsoft guns which I like very much. I used to play the guitar, and I used to mod RC cars. Now I spend my time getting angry at the video game red dead redemption 2 and screaming at my neighbors at the top of my lungs! 😁
It actually shoots like it should! Now all we need is a 3rd party brand to make knock off hyper ammo that's cheeper!
Yo you are underrated my friend only about 750 subs you just earned another
Nice score,I will probably get this one ... love the ammo door & the pump action!,,
The Evolve is definitely my favorite blaster in the Hyper line! It's worth checking out! Especially on sale!

Hyper ammo's elusiveness is its biggest con! I think this thing is definitely worth checking out on sale!
The hyper rounds are effluoroscent. Easier to find the hyper ammo in the dark with a UV flashlight/ black light.
At this point, I'm ignoring this "Series" (Quoted cause it doesn't qualify as a series of Nerf Blasters).

Absolutely! This thing would be a GREAT HVZ blaster!
Woah! Where did you find this! Looks awesome! No hop up again… weird. Really wish hyper was more useable, the blasters are so good.
I found it at Walmart! I think it's actually my favorite Hyper blaster so far!
OMG! IT'S USEABLE!
This is an amazing review. Nerf should go back to rival though... THEY DONT EVEN GIVE US ENOUGH DARTS/ROUNDS ANYMORE!
Thanks! I know! It's super annoying that they don't give you the full capacity!
Really cool concept, just that the ammo is impossible to find. Hope they make a Hyper Prometheus with an insane capacity.
YES! I'm game for a 1k round Prometheus!

Wanna know something it would be funny if they do breach loaders and magazine for hyper line

I’d rather nerf focus on mega xl rather than hyper
I found a NERF HYPER EVOLVE 100 on Mercari for 32 dollars
Awesome! Brand new or used?
@@foamquest like new
I really was hoping this was going to be a Hyper Stryfe.
That was one of my first predictions!
They missed an opportunity not having slam fire.
Does this one take batteries or not?
Nope! Absolutely no batteries required!

Total disappointment for lack of slam firing
