I had always thought that this video was incomplete; By incomplete, I mean it’s not informative on how the model was built until I watched the whole video today after years of understanding and working with Archicad that this video is in-fact almost complete when it comes to showing how the model was produced; I S almost because the stadiums seat complex profile modeling was not shown, which I believe most BIM users would find quite interesting and time saving if shown
Still waiting for graphisoft to reply this one. I´m thinking probably a complex profile of a wall with the shape of the seatings? and then using magic wand with the oval polyline?
The seats are made by using complex profile with the idea of building a long flight stair and then magic wanding the wall along an oval guide line, then cutting an elevation or section along the longest side of the stadium out side of the whole building and then drawing a closed morph in the shape of needed trim for the top of the complex wall, then extruding it in 3D, and after that subtracting the shape by using solid elements, at least assigning the cutting morph to a hidden layer.
dear archicad , did you have clear step by step to do that kind of shell in the video?, cause i've been try to do like yours thousand time and did not work...
Excellent modeling of the holy family, you well know the dimenciones the building ... And using forms archicad function .... Congratulations on the video ...
Thanks , great cover of this stadium .

this is fantastically made
What kind of element did you use for the seats and how did you create that oval washbasin shape for the outline?

Why do I not have the 'morph', 'shell' or 'mesh function in my students' version? I need it for a skatepark...

Hi awesome work.Any details on how you built the inner tension arch? The wires are morphs?
how was the bleachers created?
I have AC14. I am just wonderung how to make a bowing, because the Sketchup Plug-in doesn't work here either. Thanks for replying.
