Thanks for the memories- my buddy Jeff and I would rock this game when we were kids. Granted, we had to Game Genie for infinite lives to beat it, but it was some good times.
Nice job. One of my favorites from my youth. I don't remember if I ever beat it, but I do remember getting to the end boss. Great two player game. I always saw those "brown" tanks as red, but now I have to admit I'm not so sure.
wow.. i had this hard ass game as a kid but never saw past the 3rd stage due to the insane difficulty, you really made it look a lot easier than it is.. lol i never knew the game was this deep. great review as always, Aqua.
Team Fluttershy Considering Aqualung's track record with Konami games, one I'd love to see him do a review/walkthrough on is The Adventures of Bayou Billy on NES. I've only beat that game once in my life without cheats. ONCE. That's how God damn hard it is.
Very nice review, Aqua. This is a very fun game. It's not necessary getting the POWs to beat the game if going on a faster rate, you only need flashing ones (the ones are the Power ups).
I found the easiest way to tackle the final boss is to stay against the right wall out of range of the turret gun (its a safe zone). You can then dart in to fire your shots when you see a opening and retreat back to the wall. It takes some patience but it works.
This one has flown under my radar, I'll have to check this one out. Thanks for keep bringing different formats, genres, themes and system games out in the open. I have but one request to ask if you do take them. Cobra Command on the NES. No one ever seems to touch it, and it has always been part of my childhood. It's the game that made learn the word Sumbitch from uncle. lol I would like to see someone give it a go and I believe you're the man. So thanks again and take care. P.S. Ready for Mega Man X and more Castlevania, sorry.
theWoodrow321 Fucking seconded on Mega Man X and the Castlevania sequels. I for one am hoping he does a review/walkthrough on Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest on NES in the near future, as I've been trying to beat that game for 26 years.
I always thought of this game as Contra on wheels. Sadly, I never saw the end of the game until the age of emulation, save-state abuse, and the use of unlimited Game Genie codes. One thing I always hated was the fact that the gun will only shoot in one direction while you can throw grenades or shoot missiles in eight directions. Great review/walkthrough!
One of my favorite NES games. Shame you didn't talk about using the machine gun more - that thing can kill anything in 2 seconds. Also, how come noone even mentions the final boss having a major weakness - he cant shoot you in the bottom right corner of the map? And you don't need to take out the final lazer turrets ether - just whale on the middle building at it goes down almost instantly.
Welcome back ken, I've missed your videos sir!!!
Dude. Your channel is WAY underrated. Your reviews are straight forward, funny, and precise. Subscribed...
The Challenge in this game is awesome,The sound of the grenades and missiles makes you feel like the battle is actually in your house.

Thank you for uploading this review on one of the best NES games. Well done

This soundtrack is awesome, would you rank it high on your list of good game soundtracks Aqualung?
Do you know if you'll do reviews of any SNES games?

This game really makes you feel like a bad ass hero!
Awesome NES gem of a game!

Can you review Batman The Video Game on the NES?
If you have it?
If he doesn't, i'll let Aqua borrow my copy for the Review. :P
Cool.
***** I love that game :D
WhenxChristxReturnsx Me too, even it was to hard for me back in the day, and still even. :P
I've beaten it 150 times.

There's always at least one comment in Aqualung's videos that gives me a laugh.------->C***sucker missile launchers. LOL

The japanese version allows you to shoot to the direction your jeep is facing.
@@waffy_kun: I didn't know that. I'll have to check out the Japanese version in the near fuutre.
Do a review/walkthrough of the best NES game ever made: STAR TROPICS.
Seriously, it's a terrific game.
Eric Sandoval As I have heard great things about this NES game on and off for years, I, too, would love to watch review/walkthrough of it by Aqualung.
Dropping in to like and say good job.
Awesome review man! Whatever you do, don't try playing this game with the Power Glove.
