Hi Lodrigo! The FTF fam back together on the water again! Yes very glad to welcome spring and all it's bounty! I know! It was so funny! I'm glad I was able to capture it on camera! We had a fun day full of laughter. You're welcome, thanks for coming along with us, we are always glad to have you! It was delicious! Thanks Lodrigo right back at you from BC!
Hey I've missed you guys! Amazing how quick the ice left and looks like the fish are even hungrier now. Great catch and I really enjoyed the meal. Please don't starve us for content now my friends! Hoping your spring is awesome.
Thanks Jason! That's nice to hear! It melts quick, spring has sprung! Trout season in the spring is the best! The trout are hungry and scrappy! Thanks man I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was a fun cook and a delicious one! It's definitely nice to hear you want more content! Thank you, hoping yours is too! Look forward to hearing from you again soon! Forage on!
I’ve been catching a ton of stalked trout at the far end of that lake over the past few weeks surprised to see cutties in there, notice any difference in taste compared to rainbows?
Nice! Yeah they stalked it at the end of March and we were expecting to hook up with all those rainbows! But we were pleasantly surprised to hook up with the wild cuttie population! They are aggressive! Tons of fun! No not a huge difference in taste, I think if you did a side by side comparison you could tell the difference between the two. Both delicious.
Thanks for the reply! Was just thinking how cool it would be if you guys did a 48 or 72 hour survival camp, catch and cook. This challenge is where you both take a specified amount of gear and agree to eat only what you catch and forage. Some folks take extra luxuries like coffee, spices, lemons, avocados, onions, oil, etc. but the basic idea is surviving only with foraged wild food. Videos like this require more planning, work and sacrifice, but the volume of hits and recognition is worth it. Test yourselves! Every great fishing experience has a story and fans love attention to detail. Here's a link to a similar video that made this youtuber famous and his channel went meteoric. So far there's been 4.5 million views on this most inspiring video... ua-cam.com/video/vQN8y9dyVN4/v-deo.html
You're welcome Jason! That's so funny you say that! We've been talking about doing that! It's in the works my friend! Very cool to hear that people like you want to see us do an only eat what we forage video! Yeah we are planning a camping canoe trip this spring where we just pack gear and ingredients! I really appreciate you suggesting this and sending a link. I've seen a couple of his videos but not this one, thanks. I'm glad you're apart of the FTF Fam and want the channel to grow too! Forage on!
@@ForageToFire I can't wait for that video! One thing I've noticed with really good catch and cooks is the quality of production. Making a video appear adventurous and challenging vs. hokey and goofy is a delicate art, and the clip I sent is a solid example of story documenting. Notice the various shots he included to convey the journey, story, and elements of discovery. You guys do a great job with editing and just wanted to provide an example that skyrocketed a similar channel. Awesome content. Good luck!!!
@@jasonborn867 Thanks for your insight and observations my friend I appreciate your continued support! I'm excited to do our Forage To Fire version of the survival challenge and I'm excited for you to watch it! Forage on!

The floating kitchen 😂😂😂
Ha Ha Ha! I was like why not, let's try it!
Looked like a good ending to a good day.
It definitely was! Thanks for watching and supporting the channel! Forage on!
I still can’t get over the “jumping” fish, oh Hoti 🤦🏼♀️. I love the log kitchen, it’s a new twist of a drive thru, maybe a row thru?
Yeah it was a funny moment, I'm glad I was recording! The log kitchen was fun. A row through nice!
