@RetiredSchoolCook. Agreed. Try looking "What's My Line" with Robinson as the mystery challenger. The show was on for 17 yrs and had on just about anyone who was anyone. And you had the great John Charles Daly as the moderator. Careful though- it can be addicting.. 😊
Ed G somehow got completely under my radar when I was growing up. So happy to have discovered him during the pandemic and I’m so impressed with his work. Not much in looks or stature but mighty in sheer talent. Thanks for the video
Larceny, Inc., The Sea Wolf, Our Vines Have Tender Grapes, The Whole Town's Talking, Thunder In The City, A Slight Case of Murder, The Amazing Dr. Clitterhouse, Brother Orchid, Dr.Ehrlich's Magic Bullet, A Dispatch From Reuters, Scarlet Street, Mr.Winkle Goes To War, House of Strangers, All My Sons, Little Caesar, my recommendations.
A terrifying story, with Edward G. Robinson in one of those frightening characters where he excelled, as much moreover as in the roles of police officers, lawyers or professors. He is one of the greatest actors of all time. Peter Graves is unexpected, but the surprise is good, he's very convincing. Thank you so much for this film, seen so long ago that I had forgotten the ending, so powerful
Da great Edward G. Between him and Cagney and Boggy no one does the public enemy any better. Would love to see Angels with dirty faces and key largo on free youtube. I can dream can't I? Tku for post.
Wow, what a no give no quarter movie. Talk about a dark, dark film noir flick. E.G.R., really played a bad guy to the hilt. Peter Graves played it pretty decent for being one of the bad guys. He faced his end, by going out, daring the cops to take him out, and they did very quickly with a lot of lead. Ole 'Doc' Adams from 'Gunsmoke' was ready to give his life for his faith, but as a priest, he appears to be one of the final survivors. Very riveting movie. Thanks for posting a really action packed Saturday afternoon. I signed up.🙂🙂❤💚💙 I love the mid 50's b & w movies.
Excellent and very stark in its violence. For those who wondered what made the middle-aged diminutive Edwatd G Robinson one of the screen's best Tough Guys, this (and Key Largo) are the films to watch.
Robinson apparently was totally under appreciated. Not a single academy award? Complete shunning but why? He is a master of intrigue. What? No best supporting award for Cincinnati Kid or Double Indemnity? A totally engaging actor in the extreme roles of drama but never comes on as overacting! Always worth watching him to the end of his performance.

Whatever film Edward G. Is in, is always pure gold😊
True. If I see he’s in it, I’ll watch.

Why? a good character actor. No looks, short....Good actor but good character actors are good actors.

Another top quality film starring Edward G. Robinson
Edward G. Robinson is awesome! "Key Largo," I think is one of his greatest performances. A must-see!

EGR was an ICON of an actor one of the greatest...
Robinson, he played this part so well. Had no idea he was this good.

Feels like I will come down with lung cancer watching these 1950 ish movies.

Edward G was great in Woman in the Window
He was! He could dance.
Alright 🥃🎉🎉My favorite Actor LiLEd
SO GOOD
About 20minutes into this movie, it dawned on me I had watched it some time back. Still a great watch. Loved the cast.
Interesting casting. It's difficult to think of Millburn Stone as anyone other than Doc Adams.
Excelente filme recomendo a todos que gostam de filmes com qualidade, Santa Catarina prestigiando seu canal!
I really enjoyed this movie. Gripping.

"My Darling". Nice way to translate for "why bother" when Edward g. starts to beat the hubby and his moll stops him.
The great Edward G
Soylent Green his best!!!
Great actor Edward g Robinson
Edward G name in the title. I'm going watching. #Full Stop
This reminded me of Key Largo a bit with the hostages. But talk about a lot of death😮.
Great movie so realistic and sad

One of the GREATS 🎥🎬💯🇬🇧🤩🙏😇👏
Why upload English subs to an English speaking movie????? No option to turn them off either.
Why the English captions for an already English language movie? Kind of ruins it.
The Professor from Gilligan's Island puts in an early appearance.
I really want to feel his thoughts.
They sure knew how to smoke in those days.
AND that's Doc from Gun smoke 💙🤍🥂😘💯
Yeah Tuesdays Gone With the Wind. Wonder where Wednesday Will Go.
Can you plese stop uploading content with subtitles, it's annoying and distracts from the tension of the film!
Anyone know what wattage those light bulbs were during the chair's testing? oops!
EDWARD G. ROBINSON
GREAT ACTOR,!
Funny. Peter Graves would have a similar role in the now cult classic NIGHT of the HUNTER.
He learned almost too late, that man is a feeling creature.
Good movie
Doc from gunsmoke is in this movie
I didn't recognize him without his mustache!
Would be worth watching but the subtitles are distracting
@Iceland874 I did turn off caption, but it was the same
@@Iceland874 not in this case.
I LOVE CLASSICS 💙🤍🥂😍👹🔥🔥
I love ❤️ Edward G Robinson but don’t like him as the bad guy as the ending always has a bad ending for him.
Check out movie the Prize withPaul Newman and Edward G Robinson very good movie
WHYYY are there closed captions? It is so fucking annoying to have captions I cant turn off that thumbs down on this video.

No interruptions at all here. Obviously not the channel's fault.
Ten minute commercials every 5 minutes! No thanks.
Like me, enjoy the riddance and pay a UA-cam subscription of $10 or so a month, and no more commercials on any UA-cam show.
See UA-cam Premium. Problem Solved.
