I use 4 layer 3mm plywood.
About how long do you keep the planks in the steambox with water, and how long do you let them dry?
@pipocapiteca All my drums are from raw deer skin.
@stickouchou I make frames from 3mm thick plywood, and in water it stay 5-10min.

@velikigrizli I use an ordinary plywood, and it never dissolved in water.
