jonghyun's voice is so soulful tbh. although i don't think he's lacking anywhere, the emotions in his voice are really strong and his voice is just so... beautiful, which covers up for the areas where he can't do as well as the others. not a fan of kyuhyun's voice, (although he's one of my favs in sj) it just doesn't stand out to me (i think how your natural voice sounds plays a part here) but yeah, he's a great singer (although i prefer yesung and ryewook). and i think chen's fine but in his duet with jonghyun, i literally can't hear him at all lmao it really made a big impact on me after i watched their performance. idk if his voice is weak or if jonghyun's voice is too overpowering. anyway, i think jonghyun is the best out of the three of them here 👅💖

There's such thing as vocal ranks as a matter of technicality/vocal science. The order of all those you mentioned from best to last would be: Kyuhyun (Good to Great vocalist), Ryeowook (Good vocalist), Chen (Competent to Good vocalist), Jonghyun (Competent vocalist), then Yesung (Above Average vocalist).
I'd love for Chen to continue working on head voice and falsetto so he can blow us away with some awesome high notes (since Kpop seems to be obsessed with making everyone sing the highest they possibly can). Sometimes he sounds quite rough in that area, even to this fail music major dropout's ears. Jonghyun's lower register is so breathy, holy crap... but I love his falsetto. Kyuhyun, well... he's rated one of the top idol singers, what can be said about him? Maybe work on lower notes to make them steadier and stronger?

It doesn't sound as smooth/soft as when Kyuhyun or Jonghyun do it. Also in terms of modulation and emotion, Jonghyun and Kyu again tend to put a lot more than Chen but that might also come down to them being quite a bit more experienced. Overall, they're all fantastic vocalists. IMO, if I were to rank them it would be Jjong > Kyu > Dae. Just my opinion tho.
