My uncle got a brand new brush hog from the county because it wouldn’t cut really cheap. Noticed the same issue yours had. Took it home and flipped the wing blades and cuts perfectly
That's wild, I didn't think this would be such a common issue amongst brush hog users but several others have been saying the same thing in the comments.
that joint on the tractor end is called a cv joint. Our local pto shop said we would be better off buying a new shaft since once they get broken its hard to gete them in time because of the cv joint being so complex
It was posted in some videos back in August I believe. It's only used for about a week here. Unfortunately fescue seed waits for no one and is only about a 5-7 day window to harvest it.

FYI if you ever buy a bush hog brand of Bush cutter they are built here in Alabama
This is a bush hog brand, I appreciate they're made here too

Its a hard repair to make for sure, they have to be precise.

Funny I bought a used bush hog and had the same problem.
The worst thing is I would never have thought to check that unless I bought it with no blades on it already 😂
Were you able to swap sides?
Yes. It worked out but the strips were driving me nuts before we fixed it
Who changed the blades and didn't pay attention
Previous owner apparently
