Beautiful playing and an incredibly helpful explanation of how you shape a logical interpretation - and thank you for using and linking my copy of the etude! I like the crossover of ideas in measures 28-29 from the Mule edition and how it subtly shifts the tonality back to the tonic key.

Thanks for putting this video together! I will definitely be sharing it with my studio! Tons of great info! Timing couldn’t be better with my students working on this etude for this year’s All-State audition.

Have you ever explored the Hegvik arrangement of Ferling No. 31, adorned with the Rose embellishments? Nestled in Hegvik's Modern Course Book 5 as No. 32, this rendition elevates the etude to a thrilling new level, infusing it with vibrant energy and flair. It's truly a captivating transformation!

Analyse incroyable et constructive, je me remets aux Ferling pour pratiquer pendant les vacances avant la rentrée.
Ce serait super intéressant de voir les mêmes vidéos pour les autres morceaux du Texas All-State ! :)

What was the white thing you put in your mouth before you started playing?
