I get what you are saying i'm more of an early hardstyle fan if that's correct and most of his songs even the new ones do have that old vibe to me. Most of the new songs made all come close to rawstyle which is not my taste. Nevertheless what a sick set this is!

And try to really notice how there's actual mixing and transitions going on between tracks. You, the listener get to truly experience whole tracks, and the rush and anticipation that comes when a transition is being made. That does not exist today for some reason that Q-Dance hasn't provided an explanation for. Sets today are crap compared to this.

90% of the tracks of this set are from 2007-2009. Watching this video has made me fall in love with hardstyle again. I still remember listening to "A Feeling" live in Qlimax 2009 as one of the best moments of my life.

Qlimax 2k16 was loaded with huge sets...this one, Project One, Angerfist...the Coone's Anthem...for me the best edition on this decade.

Tuneboy is an absolute legend, so many great tunes in this set, some hardstyle dj's these days have forgotten what Hardstyle is all about, but definitely not Tuneboy :)

If you look more closely you can see that neither Project One nor Ran-D were actually mixing the tracks as they were live acts

Here I am listening this set in new years eve. Year 2021 changed 4 hours ago in my region. I have always liked this set a lot. Watched many times. Listened dozen times. Dispite the amount of previous times I only now for the first time understood that this isn’t only a great set. This is above great set. Like one of the bestest sets ever. It actually isn’t a ”set” for me. That’s understatement. This is journey, atmosphere, some bigger feeling. Oh my. Getting a bit emotional and nostalgic.
I wish some kind of Qlimax (or other) event around 2000-2010 music will be held some day. I will 100% travel to NL for maybe the last time (bc of music) and close this live hardstyle chapter in my life. 2013 was my last event abroad.

There was another favorite set of mine, in that event called : Birth of Raw | Adaro, Alpha², B-Front, Crypsis, Digital Punk, E-Force & Ran-D | DEDIQATED .
all in all, that's what you need to hear next for sure !

This is the best qlimax by anyone ever,he has that rare thing no other qlimax or hardstyle dj has.The ability to actually mix a set not one record then another playing into another,like a traditional but also rare nightclub Dj.only one other guy in the hardstyle world has this Dark Raver.i love tune boy

Nearly 4 years on and this set is still amazing. The music is left to do the talking rather than villain.
Heerlijk om te zien hoe alles zo vlot in elkaar overloopt. Geen breaks die uren duren, maar gewoon continu kick&bass en lekkere melodiën.
Went to my first rave in 2016, and showtek just so happened to be there. I didn't know who they were but their name stuck out to me, so as soon as I got home I looked them up and found all of their old music. I started exploring their music more and more and stumbled upon Tuneboy's name. This set was the very first thing I ever heard from him. He sealed the deal for me, hardstyle has been my favorite genre ever since. Always thought it was awesome that I got familiar with a lot of older hardstyle djs before exploring the newer hardstyle djs :)

I feel like I'm single-handedly going to get this vid to a million views. I play this every chance when I need to study, work, or exercise. Arguably the best hardstyle set I've ever listened to, Tuneboy is a fucking legend.
Watched the whole set and all I can say is that Italian Hardstyle is just the best there is, no way around it! I wish I could give this video way more likes than just one. And since the video now works I'd love to be able to convert those now unneeded dislikes into likes. That like/dislike ratio doesn't do justice to this set or Tuneboy in any single way.

I truly believe this is the best Qlimax set there ever was. Many close seconds, but the mixing and track selection of this set is incomparable. I have seen Tuneboy play a small classics set, he played some of these track. The man can 100% take over a tired crowd and make them dance their socks off. Will eventually experience TNT @ Qlimax one day

@@ForgottenEons Hardstyle was born in Italy and one of the pioneers of hardstyle was Dj Vortex and latter moved in holland because in holland hardcore was required harder and harder and they needed something in between hardcore and hard techno.This was said by the Prophet another pioneer of Hardstyle..im old hardstyler trust me.
