this song reminds me of a simpler time. the year is 1995 and its 6 o clock in the morning. i was walking back to my tent when i heard this song and couldnt help but stop and dance. this was a better time when music was apart of everyone and we were all proper stuck to the pan.

Definitely one of the best hip-house records of all time, imo #1 but it’s a hard call I think with tracks from another legend Doug Lazy, the seminal hit by the Jungle Brothers, or one of my favorite records of all time “Total Confusion” by A Homeboy, A Hippie & A Funki Dredd which as you likely know is as much massive techno as it is house fused with rap vocals - it’s an insane floor filler :) There’s so many others, not to mention all the remixes of tracks that were initially only hip hop (De La Soul, Chubb Rock, Twin Hype, Monie Love, Queen Latifah, Eric B and Rakim, and on and on..). Was listening to The Beatmasters & Nomad earlier, good UK examples. “Devotion (I Wanna Give You)” is especially sweet to this day.
