I couldn't stop crying when I pulled up this video! Something happened inside my heart and I began to worship the living God with all my soul! Thank you for this beautful masterpiece! All the Glory to our saviror Jesus for his sacrifice! Wow, what a glorious arrangement . It sounded like angels singing! This choir is a gift from God! I am so blessed and my heart is filled with gratitude! I have recently suffered the loss of a very close friend who was like a brother to me for half of my life and it has been a difficult road. I could feel God's presence all around me as I heard this choir singing for the first time! I know that God is always with us and I am grateful that I had my friend for 22 yrs . I pray that I will see him again one day in heaven where we will be singing God's praises forever!! Thank you and God bless you all in Jesus name!
So very good. I have always loved this hymn though grew weary of the standard tune. This rendering is beautiful and deeply touching. My hope is refreshed to "claim the crown through Christ!" Thank you!
My dearly beloved friends - thank you. This day has taxed my soul in a very hard and unflinching manner. And you ended the long very dark and heavy day with peace, beauty, hope, and profound love. You never fail to bless my heart just as it needs. I am grateful always.
And can it be that I should gain An interest in the Savior’s blood? Died He for me, who caused His pain- For me, who Him to death pursued? Amazing love! How can it be, That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me? He left His Father’s throne above So free, so infinite His grace- Emptied Himself of all but love, And bled for Adam’s helpless race: ’Tis mercy all, immense and free, For O my God, it found out me! ’Tis mercy all, immense and free, For O my God, it found out me! No condemnation now I dread; Jesus, and all in Him, is mine; Alive in Him, my living Head, And clothed in righteousness divine, Bold I approach th’eternal throne, And claim the crown, through Christ my own.
As our (including my) Mennonite churches become “worldly”, yes we are moving into musical instruments and away from congregational acapella singing. It is a huge loss.
Good question. Dan Forrest also has an orchestral version of this arrangement. This version uses vocal percussion to add the emphasis provided by actual percussion in the orchestral work.
@@OasisChorale I wasn't referring to the vocal percussion, but rather the cymbals and other added music. I think the voices praising the Lord are such a pure joy, and don't need the added frills to please the ear.

Everything is wonderful, but the female soloists voice is so delicate and rich at the same time. Exceptional.
Absolutely gorgeous, perfect pitch’s and performance. Thank you so much for sharing your choir music! Blessings and Peace ! 🙏🙏
I can imagine heavenly angels joining to sing this song of gratitude and adoration to our wonderful savior for His unconditional Love.
It is so special to hear the babies in the background. God is good. God is great and He prospers in our progeny.
Glorious! How can one watch and listen to this song and not wipe a tear.
For sure. Kristin's solo was angelic, heavenly for certain!!

I need INTERCESSORS praying the prayers that are on the PLAYLIST..OUT LOUD..PLEASE..Thank uou..
Muito lindo.
Makes me cry every single time. And we Mennonites should move away from a cappella music...why?
Has anyone said that? Personally I love hymns with instruments too, but Mennonite Acapella is so pure and powerful. As you were!
The annointing is palpable!!
Is there any album recording of this? Beautiful arrangement
It is on our upcoming album that will be released in a few weeks from now. You can preorder it at our website.
@@OasisChorale Yay!!
Can i have a copy of this arrangement...
Please
Lovely singing, but umm......Acapella????
A lot Mennonites are only allowed accapella in singing.

It’s gorgeous. The only unfortunate thing is the shushing of the kids by members of the congregation. Very annoying.
It’s actually us attempting a vocal drum roll 😊
@@OasisChorale Oooh.... sorry about that. My bad!
Nem ligo para o som das crianças, futuros cantores do coral.
