Brand New iPhone 15 Teardown. Going INSIDE The Logic Board Sandwich

- Let’s fully disassemble this brand new PINK iPhone 15. We’re going in DEEP and fully dismantling the internals & getting into the motherboard. Literally!
I go through the process of removing the back glass and walking through all the steps to get to the logic board.
I also show how to remove the logic board on this iPhone 15 without removing the screen. Step by step on how to safely get the iPhone 15 board out of the housing with just removing the back glass.
Then I split the iPhone 15 logic board layers into 2. Sadly, my recording messed up & I didn’t get an actual recording of the splitting of the sandwich. So instead, I re-recorded that portion of the video using an iPhone 14 logic board.
The design of the iPhone 15 is about 90% the same as the iPhone 14, so the technique to split both models will be virtually the same. So in this video, I split an iPhone 14 board & compare it to the iPhone 15 board that was already separated.
It’s the best I could do given the fact that I paid $899 + tax for an iPhone 15 specifically for splitting for a video… then having OBS or my PC malfunction during that portion of the video recording 😭

The USI chip is the new U2 chip. It's more square now. The U1 was more rectangle.

For the power supply I guess the internal circuit has current limitation on output that we face this kind of auto shutdown.

You are making mistake. The Qualcomm Snapdragon X70 is on the entire 15 lineup. It's the modem. 14 used X65. 13 used X60. The thing you are talking about is other part and not that modem. :) (PMX65)

I’ve never had a 14 or 15 in for repair… I don’t know, it’s either they are rare over here, or very good and don’t break 😊 I have now a 15 pro max in for repair. Started a video with it but stopped as I am still waiting for the 15 series heat plate and stencil to get here from China 😮

I think alcohol can cause a short circuit to the motherboard, why would you carelessly pour it into the back of the IP 15 like that? I really don't understand, please forgive me
Alcohol is not conductive and will not cause a short.
