thank you for your service to our country Rick Anderson both of my grandfathers also served in Vietnam one was a combat medic by the way there's a special place in my heart for war veterans like you Rick so thank you for your service and for fighting for our freedom And you guys are why and Because of veterans like you we can live in this country free and I Mean it when I say this so I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for fighting for freedomSo God bless you guys that have served our country and God bless the USA
Watch how they load a civil war reenacting cannon, they use a round shaped like a hockey puck packed in aluminum. Much safer than how you are loading that thing.
Rick my question to you is, can a custom cannon barrel be machined, golfball bore but a larger lengthed barrel? Example the 18 inch 18th century one. Can a 26-inch barrel be machined to a golf ball size
Cannon resting on it's wheels. Pre-measured charge wrapped in aluminum foil. Place in the bore and push it to the breach with ramrod. Fuse not installed until ready to fire. Clear the area. Perforate the aluminum powder sleeve through the touch hole. Insert fuse. Light fuse.
I wonder how much mass the gun can safely handle for a given powder charge? Buckshot would an interesting self-defense load. If it didn't stop a bad guy it should at least slow them down.
I've got to get me one of those, I'm big-time in to cannons. And live about 45 minutes north of you guys, North of Salt Lake City!!!! I would love to get a cannon and do a UA-cam video review about these and promote your product these are cool as hell!!!
@@debunker4874 Not a bit, I own several cannons from .44 caliber to 2 1/4 "n. also a 2 1/4" coehorn mortar. How many actual cannons have you worked on or actually own? I have helped run from a Mt. Howitzer up to a 20# that weighs over 4k. If you are going to troll someone try some one else. I have owned cannons for over 20 years.
There's also the other kind of person, the one who sells a great looking cannon, without the fucking carriage. Fuck this. Why did this even show up in my feed?
Not, Fire in the Ho. Not, Fire in the Hole, it's "Fire in the Hold"! I would expect that you knew that being a Vietnam veteran and all indicated by the hat you're wearing.
The absolute joy in an old man’s laughter!!!! I love it!!!
Rick, you certainly free'd that kid at 6:34! Thank you for your service, and keep that kid alive!
Certain plastics can generate and hold a static charge, be tremendously careful pouring powder down long plastic funnels like that.
They should go hang out with some Civil War reenactors and learn how to use that gun safely.
Brass funnel is a must!
With a bore that big why use a funnel at all?
We shoot a full size 3" ordinance rifle using 8oz charges but we have them rolled in bags and aluminum foil to stuff down the barrel ... no pouring!
@@markgamblin1366 Because it has a powder chamber butt head

R.I.P Coach. I have loved your cannons
"Gave it plenty of fuse. Helps create drama"
You guys are a hoot! Nice job.
I really want this or a full sized version with the carriage. Thank you for the video.
6:34 laughing like a little kid, worth every dollar.
What a way to feed the birds!
Morning toast…..
What company took over the manufacturing of these?

How is aluminum safer?
did that boom break any windows of the businesses on the other side of the parking lot?
Its cute listening to him he is a big kid with his toy
Looks like a number of professional hot dog bun shooters!
How much is the small cannon barrel?
Hickok45, but only shorter, different body structure, and different voice! Please don't take offense, and by the way... sweet cannon!
They're called Americans. They're becoming quite the rarity. I also like curry, bass, and artillery.
Any info on my order ?
Thats gold..... love it........
Bread for pressure is genius. I’m not using TP anymore.
did they go out of business?
That would definitely be able to make some damage in CQC if you throw in some must and nails.
Is this real? I want one. Talk about a bucket list gun.
Hot dog buns! Genius
iIs that how you feed the birds??:)
hold the match inline with the fues then strike the box wind proof
What's up with the web link?
NICE! What size is the bore?
Eyeballing it looks like 3".
I use TP for wadding in my mini .45 cal and 9mm ship cannons

2 years late but...
If you call him, he can answer your questions. He doesn't do voice mail.
My understanding is yes they can bore it that dimension.
Same question I had but 2 years too late. 18 is too small, 24-16 just right for a small hobby toy.

Looks like Cannon of old Seafight in 2009/2010/2011.
Now seafight is one ...
Can these shoot projectiles?
😲 I need this!

Ahoy Mattie we're coming aboard J P Jones.
So where is the ball...didn't see that part
Exact replica, just bigger!
I’m assuming they are no longer in business
Hot dog buns were cool but can you just picture the damage you could cause with grapeshot, or better yet round shot.

I bet that woke up the town😂❤
Well what about that Joe?
Dam thats beautiful

America looks like a lot of fun.
Face in Muzzle = Bad Idea
Such a nice gun, and so many errors in firing it. Pity.
Just use some newspaper as a funnel
his "Ho HO HO" sounded like Santa with an 18yo blonde on his lap.....
I do not see this listed on your website? do you have a link to buy this cannon?
Here is a link to the cannon: www.coachesclubcannons.com/Cannons/Billiard-Ball-Cannon/Black-Powder-26-inch-naval-cannon
I need one mounted inside my house just in case ruffians break in. JATFFI
Хлеб - булочки зачем туда засунул?? Бумажного пыжа не было?
Wow are you unsafe in loading . Horrible way to demonstrate your gun. Get some training and refilm!
Really impressed with how much time he had his face over the end of the barrel.

$4200 for that piece. Way way overpriced. Nice though think the price needs to be more realistic though
