If that was October 13th, I wonder what you’ve got now (I’ll Google your forecast after I post this). Love your natural, organic dialogue, abt your surroundings, your literal hike, and the symbolism of the cabin and you, on your journey. The forest, and wilderness has long represented the journey we all take, and as a nature lover, I dig your presence, buddy. I’m also a quadriplegic from a spinal cord injury, and so I enjoy living vicariously thru you, as it’s difficult for me to foray and camp/hike/etc., like I used to do. What a memorable ‘two-pot Sunday’, full of “fleeting, beautiful moments,” and a symbiosis b/t man and sage grouse we shld all learn from - big fan of nature helping each otter out like that myself. Cheers buddy...
Thanks for writing, through these comments I learn what others that can't get to the cabin would like to see. Seems there are always activities around the cabin, I just need to keep the camera handy.
I'm 68 years old retired 3 years ago I've been watching you for several years now and I must say you have a wonderful place there and want to thank you for sharing it with us . You are truely blessed. Thank You
That had to be difficult walking, knocking the snow, holding the umbrella AND holding the camera to film this for us! Thank you for suffering through for us!! The snow is absolutely beautiful!
I grew up in Roseville just north of St. Paul. (early 1950s) Summer vacations were "always" up to Duluth and the Great Lakes Region. Winters then produced a lot of snow more than now. Warmer winters now. I woke up on New Years Day in St. Paul 1974 and it was -32F. Killed 2 batteries trying to start my car. Spent some time up around Aitkin and the lakes up there. Our family lived on Lake Owasso in a small acreage and had 5 gardens and fruit trees. We fed the family out of those gardens. Canned everything in the autumn. Stored up everything for winter. I love your videos Martin. You give me more peace than you know. Thank you.
Wow! What a beautiful hike through the wintered forrest. Thanks so much for taking us along. Sound like a perfect Sunday to me. Worship, message, coffee and a hike through the woods. Perfect day. God Bless Martin. Thanks for sharing this with us.
I enjoyed the walk as much as you did, AND I didn't get wet or tired from the hike! That is the joy of being able to watch while unable to participate in the activity. Thank you! That was so peaceful and enriching, taking in the beauty of Gods' creation and glory.
Thanks Martin it looks wonderful, here in Australia all we want is some rain, any amount of rain, a decent amount would be lovely. Seeya Rob.....I hope you and your wife are both well.
What solitude is contained in that forest, i'll never know. The depth and expanse of the quietness there is astounding--almost like being able to hear a pin drop from 1/2 mile away. The perfect walk thank you!!
Is there anything more serene than being alone in the forest while it's snowing? At about 7:00 there's a shot where it looks like you're passing through a doorway in the forest. Just beautiful.
Martin, I've missed you neighbor! I've been off the pc more than usual for a while. Glad to see you back in the woods. I like your stories and thoughts.
Martin, I'm binge-watching all your cabin videos, got to number 74 so far. Your cabin in woods is a dream. You inspired me to spend more time in woods. I'm going to do it soon and built some survival shelters for a start before I get to building a log cabin. You've been in Kyrgyzstan. I wonder what were your experiences of that former Soviet Union country? How did people treat an American there? I was born in USSR and when I visited Colorado, USA, I was surprised how people were friendly to me and didn't see me as an enemy, as I was told by my teachers in childhood in USSR. I think people are people everywhere. It's politicians who wants to make enemies. Your channel is my NUMBER 1 on UA-cam!!!
Beautiful! Looks very similar to us here in the U.P. of Michigan, except October is long gone and the snow is knee deep now. We totally enjoy living back in da' big woods, up nort'. The Old Norwegian >
I have been watching your videos for a few months now and I am guilty of re-watching some of them over and over again. This is the first time I have made a comment. I live in Australia and have never been in snow or even touched it. I think that's why I love watching it. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this video. It's beautiful to watch and I find it very calming.
Perfect video to watch this morning. Snow and a great walk in the woods in the Fall. Can’t wait till my five weeks off in Oct and Nov at my Cabin. Cookin on my old fashioned Woodstove, cutting firewood for next year, little bit of hunting and just enjoying all God’s blessings.
Thank you for taking us along, always enjoy cabin time here on the channel, as for I don't have one yet to enjoy. Oh, and am with you the second pot of coffee. All the best to you!

What'er you gonna do? . I'm packing. I'm going south for the winter.
I lost 2 husband's to death and I swore I would never go through that agaln but I think if I could find someone like you who loves peace quiet and nature I would think about a new companion to live out the rest of my life with. Your wife is very lucky to have you.
If you ever sell in prints of pictures of the walk through the woods with snow,,,, 1:30 minute mark and on a bit.., I would buy a calendar of all your cool shots. The paths Reminds me of a Robert Frost Poem,, one of my fav poets.. I love the scene of the snow, with the green and yellow on the path through the woods.. Touches my heart and takes a breath away,,, to see beauty as such. How exciting, I'm like a kid.. ha. Snow!! So Magical! Must be so quiet if you are just still.. I can imagine, hearing the wet snow fall.. It is like another world. :-) Martin, I really appreciate you taking us on a stroll and sharing in the beauty all around. The snow makes everything look so pretty.. :-) I can almost imagine the cold. Thank you for sharing.
Two thumbs up…..I want to wish you a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year……Thanks for all your hard work and taking us along on your journey…It is nice to find some peace in this world…..Cheers from Canada.
I’m a fairly new subscriber , I’ve been catching up on the videos , I live in the south, southwestern Louisiana , so seeing the videos with the snow is magnificent . Certainly don’t have that here , very rare . It’s just another one of God’s glorious creations He has made. Love all the outdoor videos ! Thank you for bringing that northern atmosphere down south !
You are correct, Martin. The sub zero cold hold up videos are good. Nice and warm in your cozy cabin with a blizzard outside would be the best. Nice walk in the woods. Hellos to Vonnie.
GOD has really blessed you. This is an amazing site to see. Cabin life not to bad eithet Lol. All the snow here in alabama is always wet. Then freezes on the bnb road at nite. Merry Christmas martin to you an your family. May you have a blessed one.
Goodness but I hate winter. I live just north of your location Martin, over the border in Canada. Here I sit with lots of snow, looking out the window as it falls thinking THANK GOODNESS I don’t have to go outside today. Yet here I am watching you in the snow taking a walk! 😳
I remember doing a little hiking around Lake Superior into the woods there were streams and small water falls like the stream you came upon the water looked like Root Beer , very scenic landscape quiet except the flow of the water

Like walking through a painting. Beautiful.
Wish I was there right now just looking out the same window in the snow. You are living a great life my friend
The hymn, It Is Well With My Soul was running through my mind as I watched the snow fall. We sure are blessed.
Nothing more peaceful than big flakes of snow falling. In scenery like this it’s God’s Masterpiece.
Really love the closing shot of the cabin in the snow with the smoke rising.
Thank You for sharing your little piece of HEAVEN. I SO ENJOY YOUR VIDEOS. THEY ARE SO RELAXING. GOD'S BLESSINGS 🙏 😇💖
That had to be difficult walking, knocking the snow, holding the umbrella AND holding the camera to film this for us! Thank you for suffering through for us!! The snow is absolutely beautiful!

Time to go back for another pot of coffee and maybe one of Mrs. Martin's homemade cherry pies. Thank you for that relaxing walk Martin!
First snowfall of the season is always kind of magical. Especially if theirs a cabin or tent with a good woodstove to come back to. Ontario Canada.
You got it nailed.
Love the great videos. I wish that I could see a little bit of snow.
Martin very peaceful walk thanks.
Walking in the woods in the snow is a very nice way to enjoy nature. I do it often myself.

Martin, I've missed you neighbor! I've been off the pc more than usual for a while. Glad to see you back in the woods. I like your stories and thoughts.
Thanks for taking us along. Beautiful walk in the woods. Reminds me of my younger years in northwest Wisconsin walking the old logging roads.
Those early snowfalls are so beautiful with some color still in the forest. You live in a truly beautiful place. ❤

Rain just washed all the snow away here, next time it does snow, I'm going for a walk, and see if it is enjoyable as yours. Thank you Martin.
This early snow was pretty special and hard to beat for beauty.
How beautiful thanks for sharing.
Looks like the beginning of a winter wonderland...;)
Excellent scenic video. Today i did some more trail clearing and found/cut my Christmas Tree.
