I'm not very knowledgeable with MTG, but I wanted to gift my husband an otter deck with custom sleeves and a matching mat (made by me and printed by yourplaymat). Thank you SO much for explaining how these cards work in simple terms! Super helpful : D
9:35 I thought that a casting a copy of an instant or sorcery spell wouldn’t trigger cards like young pyromancer because it technically isn’t casting an instant or sorcery SPELL. Since a spell is a CARD on the stack. With copy tokens of a spell not being a card. It would trigger storm-kiln on copy. Idk still relatively new to magic ff to correct me
It depends on the cards wording. Some cards copy and then say you may cast the copy without paying it's mana cost. In that case you would trigger any effects that trigger on casting.
This feels like this strategy is just a worse version of what Narset Enlightened Exile does. Not only does she also grant prowess to all creatures but white grants you better tutors (especially for enchantments like jeskai ascendency which is a better version of the otter untapper) and has access to the other good white spells like monastery mentor and friends. Cool deck tech either way!
I was wondering if I should build Narset or Bria, and after a lot of thinking I don't have the same conclusion. Narset is great, sure but you don't have that many white cards that make the cut except for the one you mentioned. And the unblockable thing from Bria is just too good so you can have reliable sources of damage without going all-in with a big storm turn where you can still be blocked and deal zero damage. Plus, it's an otter

Let’s gooo been waiting for an otter deck 😎

However I have caught something on this guys stuff before where the rulings did line up with what he was doing with the cards. So you could be right.
Dude... I'm digging this one
Love it. Vadrik, Astral Archmage seems like a good include since each prowess trigger increases the cost reduction so you can storm off more easily.
That’s an awesome suggestion !
Decklist is missing talrand the sky summoner seen u mention her in the video
I have Zada, Hedron Grinder and Deekah, Fractal Theorist in my build. This will allow me to spam tokens by simply casting a spell that targets Zada.
I prefer arcane bombardment over rod of absorbsion. As you don't need to pay just cast a spell
I can’t decide if I should build this or Narset
No Ovika or Veyran?
Budget ygra?
Rahhhh where’s the budget coram deck
Next week is budget week! I'll post all the budget lists then :)

But it’s about Otters! Narset isn’t a Otter so that deck obviously can‘t be any better than this. :P
True, but that maybe makes bria less "must remove immediately" than narset. Also, some of us don't wanna keep track of all the graveyards 😂

The extra colour can actually make your life a lot more difficult in a storm deck, also the unlockable thing is insanely strong
True dat. But I'd rather roll with an Otter deck than Narset 😅
