    That came up so much better than I weas expecting it to. Almost felt like it was polished a week b4 and this was just removing the dirt layer.

    Thanks for the video. Perfect for a quick cleanup. Our wheels are full within a few weeks because of the mud and salt, so a quick run like this is perfect. Can you do a drive wheel video ? I'd almost think you could put the axles up on stands, put the truck in gear and let it idle. Block the front wheels and leave it hooked to a trailer so it doesn't drive off if something goes wrong then stick the grinder in and give it a shine.

    • @sixshinez9290
      @sixshinez9290  5 років тому +3

      Thanks, that exactly what this video was for. I'll do a good one of a drive just so busy lately. I just block the steers, jack up the back rims and take the park brake off. They spin freely, you dont need it running in gear.

  • @ismaelcarrillo3956

    Remember kids these wheels still have the Alcoa Dura Brite coating. You have to sand them if you want a mirror finish. Great job.

    • @sixshinez9290
      @sixshinez9290  4 роки тому +6

      Not all rims have the durabrite coating. If you look at the alcoa sticker, if it has blue lettering it is raw, black lettering is the durabrite, and for people who do not know, it is a " clear coat " which they put on to maintain the shine. And thank you.

    • @lauramurray6690
      @lauramurray6690 Рік тому

      @SIX SHINEZ your not supposed to try to polish the clear coat ones right? Got a 2 month old truck and dumping a can at the landfill I got something I hope isn't some kind of acid but I can't get it of with soap and a brush and a 4400 psi washer. It's not bad just some spots but it's a front and they are brand new
