YES! I listened to at least 5 different videos before yours, and none of them mentioned the T method. Genius, I got it!
Brilliant. This guy is a natural teacher. A million teachers could watch him. His empathy for the beginner is wonderful.
before finding this one, I watched dozens of bending tutorials, and none of them worked. these simple techniques worked immediately! I can't believe nobody else has mentioned them. eeh-ooh, eeh-ooh, how easy is that? and it fucking works! thank you, stranger!
This guy is great for teaching the harmonica. Like any other instrument, you will not learn over night. Practice and keep practicing. Good luck to all, and let the music flow!

I've been trying to bend for weeks, watching how to videos, reading books, and just trying, trying trying. Suddenly while watching this vid, I did it! On 4 draw! Still having a little trouble with 1, but I think I got it now. Thanks!

A old man that I jammed with, by playing my guitar, gave me a set of diatonic harmonicas C-D-E-F-G-A-Bb. Told me he hasn't used them in a while but thought I might continue using them. It felt sort of like a honor. I don't know if he was a good player or not but I feel like making him proud my learning. I'm getting the scales down but I have not found the bend yet. Thanks for the vid and pep talk good sir, I wont give up till I get it. Possibly freak out when I do. Cheers.

you have to be kidding me! I picked up an old C harmonica I found in my addict a few months back and have been self teaching my self with the internet. I thought I was doing really good till I came across -6' on a tab so I looked up what it was but could not get the hang or grasp the concept of what bending was till I seen this video! not to mention he was easy on the eyes ;) probably the only reason I clicked where I did tee hee. Now I finally got it and it's like a hole new world has opened up to me, I have been walking around my house playing sound of death (from the western) all day. My neighbours probably hate me right now but screw them! I can bend notes now and they can't. Thank you!

I went though a lot of these explanations for beginners on how to make bending, but somehow this one seems the better and honest based on the "you have to keep on trying" fact, eventually you'll get to it.
Wow! It works!!! Thanks Moon Cat!!! I have been playing for a month learning nursery rhymes and stepping into the 12 bar blues thing, and was really intimidated by the thought of bending. I can proudly say that 7/18/18 I can bend a note!!!!

I can tell you this has been a very helpful demonstration. In fact everyone who trys to explain how to bend does it differently but a little here and there is very helpful. The more info and practice is what is needed. If only I could play like this guy Id be happy.

Thank you so much! After watching more than 10 videos, your "Eeh, ooh" method helped me get my first bending experience. Now I can bend on the 1st hole with ease, but still can't get any bends on the other holes though.

I have been playing for about 6 or 7 years. I still watch beginner videos because I believe there is always something to be gained. When I first started bending it was confusing reading books that spoke of moving the toungue back in your mouth. When I first started bending it was like I was swallowing the note, or flexing my uvula. Later I learned the eee oooh method and it was a lot easier. the 3 hole can be tricky but like Jason said in the video it takes practice.
I just got my Hohner Blues Harp MS today and thanks for the video and concise explanation! If people don't have the patience to listen to such good advice, that's their problem. But I'm pretty stoked to start playing it now :)

this really helped me, i was trying to bend for a while and having a hard time and then i watched this and managed to bend whole 1 in less than ten minutes of trying! im so happy! :D

This is about what a bend is more than how to do it. The technique suggested here is the same as most others, but way more comprehensive in others.
Your videos inspire me to rummage through the back of my junk drawer and dig out my special 20. I attempt a few bends, and then back in drawer it goes for another six months! I guess reality quickly sets in and I realize I've got too much time invested in guitar to learn a new instrument. Very inspiring nonetheless!

Hey I just tried your method of "tee toe" and it worked perfectly I was having a little trouble singling out one hole at a time so I taped up all holes except the 4 and so I had one less thing to worry about. Thanks a lot for the wise words!

this excites me. i just got my harmonica a few days ago and started bending at 1 only after a few minutes of experimenting with the harmonica. People act like its some difficult especial talent but its not that hard
First getting it might not be hard for some,but getting em in tune or hitting em straight and keeping them steady is :p
