Thank you these people actually think these are real people. It's a show if it bothers you that much, stop watching it. Every one is too sensitive cause they're not actually facing their own issues. They get triggered by everything including a fictional TV show.
Both can be true, it is important to show real black family dynamics and conversations, but we can also realise how unpleasant behaviour of black dads like Dre can inflict trauma for their kids.

After awhile maybe stop asking you work colleagues to give you advice on your family life when you know 1/3rd is going to be old blatant racism, 1/3rd is going to be ignorant racism and the final 1/3rd is random Charlie comment that have nothing to do with the conversation.
People get on Dre for the way he treats Junior which I agree is sad. But remember, Dre's father treated him the same way. Dre seems to be parroting the same poor father traits that his dad did, which we all know sadly happens in real life.
That would be a valid argument if it weren't for the fact he's more than willing to give Jack the full dad treatment. I've seen this in real life, there is an undercurrent of resentment for he lightskin son.

I don’t think the show is implying that there’s something wrong with being vegan. I can tell you as someone who has been vegetarian, and then vegan for 21 years that people used to freak out over it. I’m not 100% sure why since I never attempt to recruit them or anything. I think it’s because simply be on me living my life they have to reflect on their own choices. However, in the last 10 years, there seems to be a shift. With people respecting your choices, and still feeling confident in their own.
Diane is also smart as a whip. She does her own thing, she speaks up for herself, she is her own person and that person happens to be difficult to figure out but that is what is great about her. She is multi-faceted. When we can't easily fit people into a box or categorize them, we'll, yah, that's history.
The constant belittling of Rainbow for being biracial is gross, the trashing of Junior being a republican for a short time because he met a girl in school who is from a republican household, and talking to down to Zoe for being an atheist is 100% horrible. I stopped watching this show awhile ago because it is so bigoted.
