Wow, that "knives and knife makers" book pricing is ridiculous! I didn't even know about knife making podcasts until last month, so I never would've guessed they had a large enough audience and influence to double the price of a book, let alone increase it by 10 times! I've never heard of the book so now I'm interested in what it contains. Im wondering if it'll come back down to earth in a couple of years once this frenzy slows down. Also, thanks for recommending that Joe Keeslar book, that really looks like it has a lot of useful information and I'll surely be picking one up sometime.

Pretty crazy how fast it happened. The Mark of the Maker is pretty good podcast and Tom Krien is quite a talented maker.

So hard to find a video on UA-cam that just tells you which knife book covers the basics of sharpening, different metals and basics. I don't care about prices of knives or making a knife. I give up I'm going to research on a text only website * I've been asked to teach a group of young patriot boys about knives, how to handle a knife, different metals and best sharpening techniques. I won't leave a thumbs down on this video but I can't leave a thumbs up either

I never realized the knife book scene could be so overpriced and obnoxious and pretentious. I come from the gunsmithing scene and it's not like that
