I've not had many interactions like that, considering I mostly go camping with my scout troop or with friends. We of course make space for others but here at least the culture is not to go chatting too much with strangers. Unless you have a few beers or a sauna to loosen the tongue. That meal looked delicious, It's exactly the sort of thing that wouuld really get me through a day. Then again I am not known to be discriminating in my food tastes and I eat most food with a smile on my face. I've been well and even gone on a trip recently as part of a training exercise, got to be outside a lot in the sunny weather. It really has been abnormally warm here for the past few weeks. I've also been out foraging a lot these last few days, rowan berries are in high season, apples are abundant, chantarelles are starting to show their golden guises, ane the last of the lingonberries are still ripe for the picking. And more is on the way. I'm almost sure I could survive off the woods for a few days with very little food, just foraging everything I need. I like the ease of transport of a tarp biouvack like that; it can however get a bit wet or windy if you set it up wrong. It's a useful skill to train up, considering tarps are a lot more versatile than tents in many situations. I've not used them many times, but especially if you are a few people sharing the tarp, it can still get pretty nice and warm. I love how you take care of your surroundings, we always try to leave a place better than we found it as a principle, but you are really taking it to another level. Going out of your way to pick up rubbish, saving the trees etc. Keep at it!
Thank you so much... you seem like a busy man , always outdoors. I don't do enough foraging... I don't like mushrooms.. but everthing else I eat.. Iam terrible at knots , so I should probably sort it out and learn more knots... Iam at the bottom of a mountain right now. I will be climbing it , spending the next couple of days camping on it , not a good phone reception here , so will probably be off grid for a few days...Take care out there.
Thank you very much... Iam glad you liked it... I wish I had more time to record on the night time... situations dictate though... Take care out there.
Yes thanks !!. It's honestly not too bad in that area. Though every now and then kids , or adults drop things.. if I have space I always try to clean up.. I never understand people who criticise, then walk past a sweet wrapper, or banana peel. I think that makes you as guilty as the person who dropped it... Take care out there brother..
