The creepiest thing about small German towns is the dozens of musicians hiding behind the trees, ready to play their haunting stringed instruments at any moment... 🎻
Did you guys notice that the weird flashlight Jonas got sent by the cloak guy is the only light that doesn't glitch when the time tunnels are opened? Pretty convenient toy for navigating those caves.
I love the fact that the time travellers wear rain coats. I always perceived time as rain or water flowing, so it feels like the travellers protect themselves from time by wearing the coats.
Even tho you were obvi kidding there is actually tons of religious imagery and allegory in the series. The timelines are 33 yrs apart > “Jesus” died at 33. The number “3” is all over > significant in Christianity for “the trinity” Jonas > Jonah and the whale.” Noah > “The Arc” way more but I don’t wanna go into spoilers 😉
How do you not know who Darth Maul is by now? The casting of the older/younger versions is so spot on!! Come on juice labs time detectives, put the pieces together. You almost had it 😆 You rock the rest.
Love y’all’s reactions. Maybe after this, you guys might be interest in Kingdom Season 1 on Netflix. Season 2 is coming. With that being said, Dark is a very intriguing and complex time traveling show. It is very important to write down the name of each character, and what they have done on the show. What they do now will affect things to come and things been done.
When you are done with Season One and before you start with the second Season.. you must watch the "Dark Season 2 Trilogy Trailer" !!! btw. A really good reaction.. Greetings from Germany In die Wiedergabeliste
No, it is not. Helga is the feminin form of Helge. But I know that English speakers don't pronounce E at the end of words like in most other Germanic languages, so it's hard to explain it. Helg-eh? It's like the E-sound in "seven".
Scandinavian Roar I mean for English speakers, “helga” is the closest approximation. I thought it would be the easiest to understand. Also, depending on your American accent, the pronunciations are indistinguishable. Also there are two different e sounds in seven. English is weird
@@jamesliggins891 Yes, sorry about that. I meant the first E. The second E is often quite weak and I think I just assumed that most people would understand that I meant the first one. But I should have used a better example. I don't think it matters that much how you pronounce it, as long as it is clear who you are referring to, but you can't say that "Helge" is pronounced "Helga" because it just isn't true. That is all I'm saying. :)

And they're all animals.

@@PPfilmemacher Yes.
I still have the commercials ringing in my head. „Raider heißt jetzt Twixx, sonst ändert sich nix!“

Egon's little VW is great for chasing down bicyclists and jaywalkers.

if it helps, not that you have to care at all about getting the pronunciations right, but "Helge" is pronounced like Helga in Hey Arnold :)

also I'd recommend the book "Behold The Man" written in 1969 by Michael Moorecock, if you like ideas about time travel and religion
👑
Bon Jovi? More like Poncho-vi.

Noah looks like one of the kids, don't ya think?
