Hey I'm new to the channel, this is the second time I'm here, the first was your reaction to the finals performance and I'm looking forward to see your reaction to the semi finals performance. I just wanted to say that thanks to The Mayyas I feel so proud to be Lebanese because I'm so proud of them. 🇱🇧🇱🇧🇱🇧🇱🇧🇱🇧
Mayyas got the golden buzzer in Arabs Got Talent and won Arabs Gt 2019 and participated in BGT the champions but got eleminated from the first round and now AGT I'm proud of them for not giving up and raised my country to the top and thank u for ur amazing reaction
Your reaction was respectful while enthusiastic, can't wait to see your reaction to their semi-final performance. I wish I knew the story behind this one..
The story of the performance? It is basically a fight between them and a snake. In the beginning, they form a tree with calm and soothing music picturing safety and stability. Then “mother nature” (the girl playing first role) encounters the snake. The snake then says a quote in Arabic: My soul is his soul, his soul is my soul. Have you ever seen two souls in a single body? This implies that they cannot coexist. “Mother nature then runs away from the snake (the part where she runs between the other dancer’s arms). Finally, she faces the snake and beats it and they all return to the tree symbolizing safety and stability. That’s how I understood it at least….
@@JC-or5nt Thanks CJ, you're talking about the semi-final performance I think. As I understand it, that is correct, but it can also be thought of as Eve in the garden being tempted by the Serpent in Genesis. Where the two dancers rip off the front lady's costume is similar to Adam and Eve understanding their nakedness before their creator. But do you know what the story behind the Golden Buzzer performance is? The eyes stem from some mythological story but I don't know what..
You both make such great points! Loved reading your comments. Regarding this performance, I think the first time they did the eye was along the pyramid and Egyptian sounding music , this time they added 2 more, but I am assuming it's the eye of Horus?
@@zed2960 Thank you. It's how you know you're watching real art when no one quite knows what to make of it, but it is somehow familiar. You might be right re eye of Horus. I just love them! Kirsty Sellars 2nd placed act was brilliant too - the way she elevated pole dancing. Shame they can't all win.
In Lebanon dancers are respected by everyone. However what she means is that the lebanese society doesn't consider dancing as something to do for a living since in lebanon you don't make that much money from dancing, so we have a cultural bias to avoid it altogether
True!! I was hoping people understood that context more! Lebanon is relatively secular and liberal to its Arab neighbors, so it’s not because of “haram/halal” bs!
Eu também me emocionei junto, sempre choro horrores toda vez que assisto essa apresentação. Me toca de uma forma inexplicável, elas mereceram tanto❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much! awesome and best reaction video to the Mayyas, the pride of our Lebanon and all of us Lebanese living abroad. You have to watch the party that was waiting for them in the airport when they arrived home. Please react to the semi final
Something was lost in the translation When the girl was saying we are living a daily struggle she wanted to talk about the economic Than the other girl took the mic and added as an arab girl it's not supported In Lebanon you can dance u can do whatever, it is a very open country even many arab countries doesn't like Lebanon because it's open and that since centuries What she meant as dance it's not supported "yet" As a Lebanese we dont go and pay and support group dance watch for an hour a Dance even belly dance been declined their request Maybe karakalla yeah because is a musical with a lot a lot of dancing So as Lebanese we prefer to join the crowd and dance that's why Lebanon is known for the city who doesn't sleep and that's why Lebanese Night life is known globaly It should change everything from the culture that they know: Do you know Lebanon culture is open close to Greece and Italy with a mix of turkish and arabian Lebanon has a huge mix of traditions and culture It's a small country of 4.5M Lebanese in Lebanon But over than 25M outside When an arab series that is a mixed work of arab actors 90% the Main girl character is Lebanese When there is a role that it needs or some role play they ask a Lebanese to do it because they are scared from the judgment that they may get Most of our singers TV host News Host Actors are females If u care to react on some Lebanese singers Nancy Ajram ( latest work with Marshmallow ) Najwa Karam Elissa Hayfa Wehbeh Maya Diab Myriam Fares Madonna ( yeah we have a Madonna and she started before the American Madonna and she's crazy as Lady Gaga 30y ago+ ) They are many I already left a huge comment :) won't be nice to pill it up with names
We r so proud of them in Lebanon!I actually prayed for them! They brought us light a wide smile ,into our dark days that we're living in!Dennis if I'm not mistaken!!!
Im an arab girl and they are more than just talented but also brave for doing this ♥️ and that girl who spoke first said something that she can never say if she was home because people sometimes don't just criticize you but they try to break you , so like you said this was a very good chance for them . They are just very powerful 🔥
Same for me, I think the reason is they had very little time to prepare for it, while the semifinals they had enough time to come up with that masterpiece.
Sir the woman that made the quote at the beginning before the performance started I ask that you watch her video tryout on AGT. She sings a song she wrote. "It's Okay." Make sure it is the version where she walks on stage and the judges chat with her before she sings. I just want people to know of her. You may need a tissue.
Please react to Aurora "Runaway", her voice is so much different than the other songs you reacted to from her. I think you would really enjoy like I did with hearing her soft and peaceful vocals that she has in the song. It's breath taking and really sets the mood to just take a break and enjoy life while you still can. Just saying since it's been a while since you've reacted to one of her songs. Thank you for what you do, and I will definitely be subscribing and joining the fam!
One more thing, in the video and the other videos of Aurora is that her dancing as well as her movements in them and why they might seem weird is because she really gets involved in her songs. She basically loses her train of thought in the outside world and goes into her own world of her songs. That's why she moves/dances like that.
Guys, they were looking for votes and they have the right to do what might help their career, but a small note, they have won Arab Got Talent and they used to do shows across arab countries, I don’t know how we can call this “not fully supported”.
Have you guys seen them in Hip Hop?? I think in Hop Hip they are even better than oriental, their energy is crazy!! I have posted their Hip Hop video, if you see it you will know what I mean😍
Hi, your channel is great. Interesting videos, very good music I subscribe. Please react to Monica Naranjo - Perdida (videoclip). This song is a masterpiece. She's an amazing singer. A greeting. Link the video 🎶🎶👇👇👇

Well said Null. Wanted to mention same thing I couldn’t have expressed it better than how you put it 🥰
Great reaction Dennis

Something was lost in the translation
When the girl was saying we are living a daily struggle she wanted to talk about the economic
Than the other girl took the mic and added as an arab girl it's not supported
In Lebanon you can dance u can do whatever, it is a very open country even many arab countries doesn't like Lebanon because it's open and that since centuries
What she meant as dance it's not supported "yet"
As a Lebanese we dont go and pay and support group dance watch for an hour a Dance even belly dance been declined their request
Maybe karakalla yeah because is a musical with a lot a lot of dancing
So as Lebanese we prefer to join the crowd and dance that's why Lebanon is known for the city who doesn't sleep and that's why Lebanese Night life is known globaly
It should change everything from the culture that they know:
Do you know Lebanon culture is open close to Greece and Italy with a mix of turkish and arabian
Lebanon has a huge mix of traditions and culture
It's a small country of 4.5M Lebanese in Lebanon
But over than 25M outside
When an arab series that is a mixed work of arab actors 90% the Main girl character is Lebanese
When there is a role that it needs or some role play they ask a Lebanese to do it because they are scared from the judgment that they may get
Most of our singers TV host News Host Actors are females
If u care to react on some Lebanese singers
Nancy Ajram ( latest work with Marshmallow )
Najwa Karam
Elissa
Hayfa Wehbeh
Maya Diab
Myriam Fares
Madonna ( yeah we have a Madonna and she started before the American Madonna and she's crazy as Lady Gaga 30y ago+ )
They are many I already left a huge comment :) won't be nice to pill it up with names
We r so proud of them in Lebanon!I actually prayed for them! They brought us light a wide smile ,into our dark days that we're living in!Dennis if I'm not mistaken!!!
You haven't seen the semi final , highly recommended 👌
Lebanon represent 🇱🇧

great reaction thank you so much
I was not impressed with their final performance but the semi finals were unbelievable.
Same for me, I think the reason is they had very little time to prepare for it, while the semifinals they had enough time to come up with that masterpiece.
Short timing, but I liked it personally because of the more Lebanese vibe to it than the other performances.
Love your reaction ♥
فخر العرب ♥️

Spoiler: the semi finals act is a combination of their final act and the audition times 10
Guys, they were looking for votes and they have the right to do what might help their career, but a small note, they have won Arab Got Talent and they used to do shows across arab countries, I don’t know how we can call this “not fully supported”.
Welcome to the mysterious Arab world.
❤❤❤❤❤

اتمنى منك مشاهده المقاطع البقيه لمياس وضع رده فعلك 🤍
Check out their video Mayyas Official - HORRA. Would love your reaction to that! 😃
❤️🥂
The semi finals are much cooler
They're just playing on the people's emotions with some bs talk. They can dance however they want as arabs, they even won in Arabs Got Talent show.
They didnt say they are not allowed to dance, they said dancing is not supported. its different issue
Dance is not a career in Lebanon
This is a lie, in Lebanon they can do more than that but they have to do some begging
Hi, your channel is great. Interesting videos, very good music
