  • A historic 1979 documentary about the Danish ballet tradition with excerpts from the Conservatory, an excellent Kermesse in Bruges pas de deux (31:32), a Napoli tarantella (38:31) and a beautiful Genzanno pas de deux rehearsal (44:53). Among the dancers are Ib Andersen, Mette Ida Kirk (Kermesse), Arne Villumsen, Linda Hindberg (Genzano) and other artists of the Royal Danish Ballet.
    Among the teachers are Hans Brenaa, Henning Kronstam, Kirsten Ralov, Erik Bruhn etc

    The Bournonville style is uncomparable: light, bright. lifeful and charming. Something good for mind and soul....and difficult to dance. He realy needs learning and training. I love to see Bournonville I find something magic in it.😍🤩

    Love Bournonville, and the dancers who are trained in his style. It really is worth preserving and building upon.

    The Russian tenique is excellent and the production bit I like the music tenique stle of Bournville also it's romantic and dreamlike

    How wonderful to see so many legends of Danish ballet together, and especially Hans Brenna passing on the torch. Young Ib Andersen showed so much promise already. Thank you, ondine!

    Mette-Ida Kirk looks very young in this film. Yet she was in her mid20s and that year became solodanser. The following year, when they all did a Bournonville Festival in Chicago, she was lovely.

    Creo hacen un error, constante, doble saltito o ausencia de un real demi plie...ok, sus coreografías difíciles y originales, ejecutadas por otras escuelas superan esos defectos así como su falta de coordinación, de brazos, cabezas y el Ligatto de los brazos, ....
