I thought there was a new system to painting and I watched the first 27 seconds only to realize that the reason I couldn't see my dyes was bc I wasn't in the cosmetics tab lol
I’m pretty sure you can paint anything, saddles and clothes/armor you just take the dye and drag it onto the item you want to paint for example I want to dye a shirt or a saddle or a gun you just hover over the dye you want and you drag it on top of the item(it will glow blue) and it will show you the areas you can paint like in the video, As for the paint gun I think it’s only on structures and Dinos I could be wrong but you can use the paintbrush for the structures and Dinos too! The paintbrush can also help you paint your self too and on a canvas,Flag etc…

Can u also change the flame colour of a wall-torch and a standing torch ? :) I could not find a awnser anywhere in the Internet, but i know u can also change light colour of electric lamps .
You can change the color of wall torches by painting region 5 just like the torch I use the spray painter and if you don't know how to change the regions by holding L2 + (d-pad) right left up and down regions 1-4 then for 5 and 6 hold L2 AND L1 THEN PRESS SQUARE AND TRIANGLE

This happens to me for almost all colors other than purple. If I make red or green and drag it to my gun/paint, it acts as if it changes, but blanks out.
@@panurge987 Did you spawn these via console? I just found out today, by creating the dye through the pot, and then spawning them via console, they both will read the same color, but are listed as different items as they are unable to stack.

Correction, you do not have to use soap to remove a color just pick the wall or whatever it is up and set it back down ;)
Yeah you can do that with structures but for your body. armor and saddles you need soap

They go into your cosmetics inventory, not your normal inventory

hold left trigger and left bumper than press square and triangle for 5 and 6 and for Xbox x and y. So LT + LB + X or Y for 5 and 6 hope that helps
