This was such a great loss. You are with the Angles now. Players like this are leaving us at a alarming rate. RIP my Friend You will be remembered.. Jim
I've listened this song many times ago, and the most I like at this song is that it's very similar with the old gospel songs, and even the lyrics can be interpreted as well.
Thanks. Had pretty good time here listening all of those vids and see all the good words I know have already used for u. So simply had nothing to say but watch mouth open :-). How u can play such couple of themes at once! Amazing, especially When I'm 64. Have You tried some Queen's stuff like Seaside Rendezvous or maybe Good Company? Guess that would be sound as another masterpiece. Onemore thx.
Wow, simply beautiful. I really liked this one. 5***** for sure. I have never heard it played so pretty before. U can sure pick the words right out. I could almost set here and sing it while U was playing it. Darlene
these can be found at youtubeif you're interested in and some that fit your style. Anyhow, You have made your arrangements sound like some ole kind fashion from times before bandstands in saloon. Sounds great, new and fresh though not fluent in every note, this fit perfect and alive. Not like that produced as by now. Seems you have already made almost all country and ragtime classics by now except some Blue Eyes Crying or Jambolaya etc. So if you continue those things can be option for. Tnx.
Hello dear Allen, you MUST be a very good fellow! Otherwise you could not "transfer" the feeling in such a way. SORRY FOR MY POOR ENGLISH, but you will know what I mean. Thank you so much. Joseph
Thanks for the compliment. I am not a classically trained pianist. I can read sheet music painfully slow1 I just Loved Joplin better than Johann. Sincerely, Allen Dale.

As answer to your question - this tune was first recorded by Porter Wagoner (RIP) in late 50-s on early sixties. Way before Tom Jones made it hit.
Exelentně zahrané:-) krása :-) *****
P.S. I'd love to hear Allen singing this one...
If you are speaking of Lenard, he was LIKE my brother, but we were just best friends. Merry Christmas.
Thanks.
really great! wish you could do a tutorial on it! :)
It would be worth considering buying a grand piano with that skill as it would give a better response.
@allendale1962
You're welcome, I play the piano too & love it, but you have a style I don't have, but wish I did, lol!
You are SO RIGHT!!!!

Lots of people have recorded this song, but Tom Jones had a big commercial success with it.
Allen does a beautiful arrangement of it - not too fast.
